Neste passeio você visitará Matera, a cidade rupestre, um lugar incrível e único nas colinas de Murgia. Sua cidade velha esculpida em uma ravina profunda, é o primeiro local da UNESCO no sul da Itália, onde as pessoas viviam em casas-cavernas desde a era pré-histórica até 1952, em dois distritos incríveis chamados Sassi. Em vez disso, Altamura está situada em uma posição dominante nas colinas de Murgia, em um parque nacional. Tem uma cidade velha muito interessante com uma grande catedral do período medieval. Conhecida pelo típico pão local, definido como o melhor da Itália e com marca de alta qualidade DOP, Altamura possui muitos fornos de pedra onde podemos saborear os pratos típicos da cidade do trigo!

Muito conhecida pelo típico pão local, definido como o melhor de Itália e com marca de qualidade DOP, Altamura tem muitos fornos de pedra onde podemos saborear os pratos típicos da cidade do trigo! O tempo restante será alocado para o tempo de viagem entre as atrações.

Interesting excursion Matera and Altamura are two great cities to visit but the wording of the tour specified a day or we left at 9am and returned at 3pm for me it's not been a day but half a day knowing that there's a little more than an hour by car and an hour back and at the price of 198 euros it's expensive an hour fortunately our guide was exceptional, she has a lot of culture, she spoke in two languages at the same time which is not easy and she is very smiling and very caring I think we should add a visit to a beautiful rock church in the other sassi or at least leave a long free time so that we can visit alone and also do a little shopping or eat a little something that couldn't be done

Il tour da lei effettuato è iniziato alle ore 08:45 e si è concluso alle 15:25, per una durata complessiva di circa 6 ore e 40 minuti, in linea con quanto indicato sulla piattaforma Viator, dove è chiaramente specificato che l’escursione ha una durata approssimativa di 7 ore. Inoltre, segnaliamo che in quella specifica giornata, grazie alle ottime condizioni di viabilità tra Matera e Bari, il rientro è stato leggermente anticipato rispetto al previsto – circa 20 minuti in meno – senza alcuna riduzione dei contenuti del tour. È importante sottolineare che i tempi di percorrenza in auto fanno parte integrante della durata complessiva dell’esperienza, come indicato nella descrizione del tour. Il tempo impiegato negli spostamenti è infatti parte dell’organizzazione logistica necessaria per garantire la visita a più destinazioni in un solo giorno. Inoltre, desideriamo ricordarle che ha ricevuto un upgrade gratuito nella sua lingua madre, il francese, un servizio dal costo normalmente più elevato rispetto alle lingue standard (inglese e spagnolo). È stato un piacere offrirle questo valore aggiunto senza costi supplementari. Infine, capiamo il desiderio di visitare luoghi meno turistici come alcune chiese rupestri e, allo stesso tempo, avere più tempo per il pranzo o lo shopping. Tuttavia, queste due esigenze sono difficili da conciliare all’interno dei tempi contenuti di un tour giornaliero, ed è sempre nostro impegno trovare un giusto equilibrio tra approfondimento culturale e tempo libero. We had a delightful day in Matera and Altamura on what turned out to be a private tour. Altamura was a surprise for us, not a town we knew anything about. The church was beautiful and the bakery was very interesting. We were also able to see pasta being made on the street. The guided tour of Matera was something we were looking forward to and we were not disappointed.

My husband, adult daughter and I had a wonderful day touring Altamura and Matera. It turned out to be a private tour for the three of us. We had delicious focaccia in Altamura at one of the bakeries in old town. The cathedral is beautiful, especially the front entrance and all the stories it tells. Matera was as beautiful as all the pictures I’ve seen. Our tour guide, (her first name escapes me - last name Pavia) was so informative. Her knowledge of the history of these two beautiful towns was so interesting. We had a great day!
