Our guide Slyvie was excellent however the "free entry included" is deliberately misleading: ALL entry is free regardless and the tour does not provide you a ticket, you would still have to wait in the main queue.

The tour was misrepresented in 2 ways. 1) it was supposed to be a max of 12 people on an “intimate” tour. We had 22 people in our group! Basically double the size which also meant double the wait as she went around making sure people could see the photos on her map. Our guide was soft-spoken and used a mic so we could hear her. She spent a lot of time asking people to guess, wasting time she should have been telling us about the cathedral and history. When we got to the front facade, another guide reprimanded her for using the mic saying she’s not allowed. That’s when I decided to leave. She was wasting time and the entry line was growing so long it was down the block and zigzagging! Before the tour started she was clearing up the second misrepresentation of the tour. 2) the tour said included “free entry” I knew it was an exterior tour only but I had thought she was giving us a pass to enter after the tour. I didn’t realize I was going to have to wait in a line for entry that is provided to all regardless of the tour! When we arrived before the tour started, the line was short. It as the tour went on, hordes of people kept arriving. She told us it would probably be a 20-30 minute wait. But didn’t believe it. My husband left the tour at 9:20am and it’s now 10:15am (55 minutes) and he hasn’t even reached the start of the zig zag rails. I’m guessing this will be a 3 hour line! I’m so disappointed! And honestly I want a refund! I stayed with the guide to learn but she barely conveyed much before I left the tour around 9:35am. It was such a waste of our time and if we had gotten in line when we arrived at 8:40am instead of waiting to take the tour, we would have been in quickly!

Very informative small group tour. I would not have known some interesting facts if I had not taken the tour. Such as the original heads of the portal kings are now at the Cluny.

The tour itself was nice and very informative but I think almost everyone in the group thought the tour included skip the line access to the cathedral. In my opinion the description is at the very least confusing if not misleading.

Our guide was very animated and did a good job of sharing information. However the guide was only for the outside. We found an excellent free audio guide app that we were able to use with our airpods for the interior. In fact the app also covered all the same outside information. Since with this tour you have to get in line with everyone else with no timed entry, the 70 euros that we spent on the tour was definitely not worth it.

Really not what I expected just the outside gargoyles stuff and some of the symbolism. Had to get in line later to go inside. Meh

Very nice lady guide called Ruth. Small groups so everyone could hear. Just the right amount of talking!

PLEASE NOTE: That is tour is strictly OUTSIDE only. Apparently it says it in the fine print, but everyone in our little group was shocked and surprised not having access inside so they didn't read the "fine print" either. This tour does not get you inside, you'll still have to wait outside to go in. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable nothing against the young lady who provided us with facts.

Was a great experience! Loved our guide Leo. Very engaging and witty and gave a great history. He was great at answering all our questions.

The guide, Denise, was outstanding. She handled the complaints about the lack of clarity about what this tour actually is— very well. Her tour was engaging and she was very knowledgeable. This tour SHOULD BE DESCRIBED as a”tour of the exterior and perimeter of the cathedral with a historical focus”. Then it should be said that “a self-guided view of the inside of the cathedral is an option after the walking tour of perimeter. As stated “your right options” is misleading!! Make no mistake, the tour of the exterior is well worth the money but it should be stated that this is NOT a guided tour of the cathedral, itself.
