My wife and I enjoyed a day in the national park and a second morning kayaking on the river through the mangroves. Both were excellent and our guide had excellent Vision to see and explain the animals and plants. Very much appreciated his good service.

Great tour experience. Diego is very experienced and was able to show many local wild life and answer all our questions. We really enjoyed our time and learned alot. Would definitely recommend this tour.

My husband and I did a G Adventure tour which used Diego for the Manuel Antonia park. Diego’s tour was by far the best experience we had throughout our tour. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and has an amazing eye for seeing the wildlife in a dense tropical forest. We had other guided walks in other areas of Costa Rica but none compared to Diego’s.

Diego is fantastic! We did the 2 km hike through Manuel Antonio NP. Diego is very knowledgable about the park and its inhabitants, and took the time to give us details on each and a chance to look through the spotting scope. He also took fabulous photos and videos through the scope, it is such a treat to have these memories recorded.

Taking the time to really get a good look through the scope and capturing those moments—whether it's the wildlife behavior or just a great close-up—is one of my favorite parts of the tour. Our guide was great - without him I wouldn’t have spotted any of the animals! He used the scope so we could zoom is and let everyone take pictures through the scope to get some amazing close up shots. You can then stay in the park after the tour to spend time hiking or at the beaches. The park is busy - there’s no avoiding that. it’s the main attraction in the area but it’s worth it and the money generated is used in a positive way.

Our guide Diego was top notch. He knew so much and schooled us on flora and fauna. We saw so many things - birds, sloths, spiders, snakes, monkeys, crabs, etc. We spent a lovely time hiking and sitting on the beach after the tour. Word of warning - the food in the enclosed lunchroom was really, really bad!

Diego Nature Tours were awesome! Everyone we talked to was extremely professional, courteous and helpful. Communication was easy. And the guides were amazing - they really knew what they were talking about - and helped us get amazing photos. They helped us set up other tours we wanted to do as well. We did 3 tours with them (Night Tour, Chocolate Tour, Manuel Antonio National Park Tour) and loved them all! I highly recommend Diego and his team, and would use them for any other tours they offer - top notch!

Diego is passionate about the biodiversity within Manuel Antonio National Park. Coupled with his friendliness, it made for a wonderful tour. He shared facts, stories and even some local mythology. Diego located so many animals, and made our trip to the park memorable.

Diego was extremely friendly and helpful, holds deep knowledge on the different animal species and habitat making possible to everyone see things would have gone unseen. He carries a cutting-edge set of lenses that capture the smallest details of animal - example: we were able to see a unique spider that is 2inches big and blends in nature to capture its prey’s! Very good communication and handling the group with different age and nationality. Diego made a walk in the park become a memorable experience!
