Truly happy I booked with Viatur because we did not have to wait im line. When you see the Prado for the first time it leaves you speechless and is a bit overwhelming with so many beatiful things to see. Sara was great and very knowledgeable and she gives you an overview of the artist"s essence in the paintings we viewed. This visit will be one of the highlights of my trip. ¡Gracias Sara!
Frederico made this tour. He knows the museum and the collection. He has a plan for showing the key pieces in this enormous (think the Louvre) museum. So you get to skip the line and you get an entertaining and efficient walk thru the collections. He also shares thoughtful insights to a number of the work (stuff you didn’t hear about in Art History class).
The Prado is a huge and beautiful Art Gallery with thousands of paintings by well known artists including Goya & Greco. Our guide, Jesus, was very well versed regarding the artists and their history. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Our guide was very nice but I feel that our time could've been utilized a bit better. We spent a lot of time on a handful of pictures while there were so many more periods to cover.

The tour was great and the guide was delightful and informative. She shared context to link artists and subjects together, with the tour focusing on a selection of the works on the ground and first floors by Bosch, Bruegel, Raphael, El Greco, Titian, Rubens, and Goya. There is way too much art in the Prado to see in two hours, but you are free after the tour to stay and enjoy the museum until close if you like, and enjoy the rest of the works at your leisure.
This was a great introduction to the Prado Museum. Our guide was excellent, but we wished she had a directional mic close to her face so we could hear better. She wore it on her jacket and it picked up all of the other noises and tours around us. Make sure you visit the top level which is a hidden gem filled with collectable treasures. There are not many signs directing you to this section, but worth asking the information desk for directions on how to get there. Absolutely one of the most special areas of the Prado, which was not part of this particular tour.
