Had a fun time. Great way to spend some time, especially on a hot day, in Beaufort. Carl, I think his name is, was a great and silly guide. Just do the tour.
The kazoo factory tour was interesting. It wasn’t terribly long but it was filled with great info. There is a lot of information on the walls if you don’t want to pay for the tour. They have a shop to buy more kazoos if you want them, but you get one with the tour.
We had so much fun. Two seniors and one 13 year old - who knew we would all enjoy it so much! Interesting tour by Paul, too. We played those kazoos on our long drive over and over and over and laughed at hitting wrong notes or trying new sounds. We absolutely recommend stopping by this museum.
An absolute must-stop! My wife and I visited as part of our 25th-anniversary travels and had a fantastic time. Paul provided an excellent, informative tour, and it was incredible to learn about the volume of kazoos this dedicated team produces for the world. Great for musicians and an amazing experience for kids—highly recommended!
My wife and I were looking for something to do in Beaufort on a rainy day. After reading the positive reviews on trip advisor, we decided to give this place a try! The information about kazoos was very informative and our tour guide was very entertaining. I highly recommend the tour for all ages!
We had such a fun time! Who knew there could be so much to learn and love about kazoos? Our intro to the history of kazoos and whistles was highly entertaining and informative. Our guide was delightfully serious and funny. Kazoobie Kazoos are now beloved at our house. We got to make our own kazoos, and then my son got a wazoogle in the gift shop! If you're in Beaufort, make sure you visit this gem!
One of the funnest tours we've ever taken. The guide knew songs and all kinds of fun way to use the Kazoo and he made it very interesting. We thought oh this will be a silly cheap way to pass the time. We had a blast! Way more fun than expected but we're so happy we went. Phenomenal value.
It was a really good time. We were staying at HHI so an out an hour drive but well worth it. We never heard of a kazoo factory and museum so not just fun but different.
I love processes and factory tours and this was a modified factory tour and fun nevertheless. That's especially true because Paul demonstrated each type of kazoo he had from around the world. We are glad we went, bought T-shirts (being genuine tourists) and had no trouble finding the location in our rental car. We walked in to buy our tickets, it was not crowded on a Monday morning. This is good for anyone with a penchant for playing, adults and kids maybe over 6.
This was one of most fun activity we have done in a long time. The guide, Cliff, was personable and knowledgeable. Loved the video and history of this little instruments. We are in our 70’s and another on the tour was 3. Everyone had a great time. Then we got to make our own!! We bought a few enhancements, and I think Cliff said it made a Wazoo! Something straight out of Dr. Seuss. Definitely take some time away from the history of Beaufort, and laugh and hummm…..
