Com um máximo de 12 convidados, esta experiência de pequenos grupos garante uma viagem acolhedora e personalizada. Seu anfitrião e guia por seis dias por semana é o nativo de Amsterdã Boudewijn Metzelaar, também conhecido como "Captain Bow". Nos sábados, um de seus amigos de confiança entrará para guiá-lo. Se você quer sentar dentro ou fora, você estará bem preparado para desfrutar do cruzeiro, chuva ou brilho, em verdadeiro estilo holandês. Todos os cruzeiros são capitaneados por mim como capitão/proprietário do Drift Away. Partimos do Singel nº 7 e retornaremos a este local no final do cruzeiro. Não ofereço uma rota fixa, dependendo de seus desejos como hóspedes, adaptarei o cruzeiro especificamente a você. Devido ao design personalizado do Drift Away, temos acesso até mesmo aos canais mais estreitos de Amsterdã e podemos passar até mesmo pelas pontes mais baixas. Se você não tem nenhuma preferência, vou montar uma rota que lhe dará uma visão geral do cinturão de canais, alguns dos pequenos canais menos percorridos, o rio Amstel e a área marítima oriental. Como um ¨Amsterdammer¨ nascido e criado, tenho um rico conhecimento sobre a história, a cultura e o modo de vida holandês de Amsterdã em geral. Adoro compartilhar com vocês sobre minha cidade natal de uma maneira descontraída, com bom senso de humor e a típica franqueza holandesa!
Passaremos pelo pitoresco bairro Jordaan. O nome do Jordaan encontra sua origem na palavra francesa Jardin, que significa jardim. Muitas das ruas do distrito têm nomes de flores.

Our Captain John was fantastic. He was personable, funny and knowledgeable. He was incredibly proud of his country’s heritage and contributions in building the foundations of the modern world. The trip itself was perfect. We had a fantastic time and met two really nice guys from Louisiana, which was a bonus. Thoroughly recommended.

Our captain was fabulous and shared lots of great info. There was a great selection of drinks and overall the experience was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this small operator rather than the bigger boats.

We rode the Sophia with Capt John. The boat was great, and seeing Amsterdam from the canals is a must-do. What made this the best experience was Capt John. Engaging, knowledgeable, gentlemanly, personable, and funny. Plus, the all-inclusive snacks and drinks make the trip all the more of a delight.

The tour was fantastic!! The tour covered alot of the canals. John was great at covering history and fun facts. John was very kind and welcoming! John was a 6 star guide.
A nice, long, leisurely trip through the canals. The guide, Fokko, was personable and talked a bit about the sights and history, but more would have been appreciated. Boat was very nice, large selection of drinks was served, with refills available.
Great experience, much more back and forth conversation with the captain then what you seem to get on the larger company boats. It felt more like a local friend taking us out and not like a rehearsed and repeated tour.
Skip the big boat tours, this small group boutique cruise down the canals of Amsterdam can’t be beat. We had a total of 4 people on our 3:00 afternoon cruise and our captain was informative and one of the kindest professional tour guides we ever experienced. The boat is super comfortable and he offers an amazing open bar filled with every beverage you could desire. It was our favorite tour experience in Amsterdam.
What an incredible experience! It was easily one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam. The views as the sun went down were absolutely beautiful. Toward the end of the tour, we were caught in a very strong thunderstorm. Our captain handled the situation with complete professionalism. He quickly got everyone safely inside the boat, kept us calm, and even allowed us to remain onboard after the tour ended until the rain let up. His kindness and genuine concern for his passengers did not go unnoticed. I wish I could remember his name because he truly deserves the recognition (I’m attaching a photo in hopes the company knows who he is!). His excellent service turned what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable one.
