O Templo Budista Jogyesa é o centro do Zen Budismo na Coréia e é famoso por estar localizado na cidade. Das ruas movimentadas de Jongno, siga a estrada para a Estação de Metrô Anguk e você verá o Templo Jogyesa. As primeiras coisas que você notará no templo são as adoráveis árvores. Soongryemun (Namdaemun) é um portão principal da antiga fortaleza de Seul na dinastia Joseon. É comumente chamado de Namdaemun. O portão foi construído em 1396, no reinado do Rei Taejo. E foi reconstruído em 1447 pelo rei Sejong e em 1479 pelo rei Seongjong. Em 2006, a cidade de Seul abriu a passagem para o portão para o público. O portão agora é listado como o tesouro nacional da Coréia # 1. Our guide for the day was Eddie and he was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and really helpful. It is a long day and quite a lot of walking but well worth the effort, especially if like us, you have limited time in Seoul. The only area that could have been trimmed down was the Ginseng experience, although this is not 'hard sell' like most other tours, and it was very interesting. It was a great experience and I would recommend.

So many fabulous Korean foods to try, and Yoon knows them all! It was a great experience to wander around the market and try things I would never have been brave enough to sample without a local. Yoon lived in the U.S. for 8 years so he was able to explain everything perfectly.
