• Começaremos nossa manhã com uma visita ao mosteiro Gandantegchinlen. De manhã, os lamas se reúnem para orar. Eles responderão suas perguntas no Centro Budista da Mongólia. • Continue dirigindo para o Templo Aglag Buteel. O local foi fundado por um artista e estudioso budista usando afloramentos e cenários naturais. A área do templo tem locais e artefatos incomuns e convincentes para demonstrar. Exceto as exposições ao ar livre, no segundo andar do prédio principal, um pequeno museu da coleção particular do proprietário oferece criaturas estranhas da natureza, como crânio de carneiro com 4ornas, crânio de íbex com chifre único, pele de crocodilo completa, peixe com cinco cabeças e assim por diante. • Almoço • Excursão ao redor do templo e museu • Volte para Ulaanbaatar. Amazing experience! My guide Odko was extremely helpful and nice. The temple and the surroundings are really beautiful, they worth a visit! Just pay attention, if you'd like to see the statues you have to climb a bit. (Nothing difficult but better let everyone know)

There was a big miscommunication with my tour guide about what this tour should entail, the tour operator was very apologetic and made an effort to make up the missed part of the tour the next day however. I felt like on the first day of the tour to Aglag Buteel I recieved very little guidance, and more often then not I was being left behind and alone by my tour guide without much information about the temple. The next day the tour guide had to makeup the Gandan Temple part of the tour, and she offered a lot more guidance and instruction, it was much better. I understand I am quiet, but I still paid for a tour and I kind of felt like I could have just hired a driver to take me to Aglag Buteel for much less money and walked around by myself instead. The guidance I was given by the guide for the Gandan Temple part of the tour was much better, I hope that going forward that’s the kind of guidance each patron will receive.
A fantastic tour up into the snow capped mountains. The hike up to the temple was steep but the view from the top was breathtaking.
