Um dos mais importantes locais de peregrinação religiosa na Tailândia é Wat Saket, traduzindo como a Golden Mountain. Este templo da encosta apresenta um chedi dourado reluzente que se acredita conter uma relíquia do próprio Buda. Pode ser rastreada até o período de Ayutthaya, o que significa que pode ter até 800 anos!
Também conhecido como o Templo do Buda Reclinado, este é um dos maiores e mais impressionantes pontos turísticos do templo em Bangkok. We just did the Bangkok: Wat Pho and Wat Arun Guided Walking Tour (booking No. 41HFOBDSF6LY) with Pranee aka Nina and it was spectacular. The temples were absolutely beautiful and Pranee explain and show us the beauty of these temples and she e palin the history and art behind them! She was also extremely funny and make the experience amazing!
