Winter has a charm all of its own in the Barossa Valley. The vineyards take on a different character, the cellar doors feel warm and welcoming, and a crackling log fire with a glass of red is hard to beat. Having already explored many of the larger wineries, I enjoyed introducing you to a few family-owned producers that offered something different. The Barossa is much more enjoyable when there’s time to settle in, enjoy the wines, and follow the day where your interests take you.
