Our group of six had an incredible sunset tour with JP. He knows all the best places to get away from the crowds and find the best photo opportunities. He had a beautiful snack set up with champagne and local delicacies for sunset. The dune landscapes are truly indescribable, a once in a lifetime expereience. JP was also able to help us a by arranging a living desert tour the following day after our original tour operator cancelled at the last minute. He truly made our time in Nambiba memorable.

I’m just a hobby photographer but really wanted to come home with some dune shots- the afternoon light couldn’t have been better. JP was a fab guide, the locations were perfect and his advice very helpful. He also took shots with me in the dunes, and helped me take some shots that I couldn’t due to an injury the day before. Thoroughly recommend!

Despite the weather was a bit bad, Hans and the other guides have been amazing. We saw a lot of animals and the dune driving was a unique experience. Excellent the food they offered to us with the vegetarian option for two of our friends. Absolutely recommended if you'll come to Namibia.

JP is super friendly and took us in a great tour in the dunes, with a first stop next to the gigantic salt factory and its pink "lakes". We had an amazing afternoon with our guide, he made stops for nice photos everytime we needed, and it was nice to just talk about life in Namibia, and nature and animals surrounding Walvis Bay. We even had the chance to reach Sandwich Harbor before the high tide and felt very lucky and overwhelmed by the beauty of the place. If you want some adrenaline, sit in the front of the car while JP drives down the very slopey dunes. Fantastic experience and a highlight if you stay near Walvis or Swakop. We cannot recommend this experience enough!

Compared to what Sandwich Dune Tours and Safari did to us (stealing our money, lying to us, switching the tour with another one we didn't want, unrespected schedule : shame on them !), Red Dune Safaris was a Gem, like a shining sun after a dark and sad day. JP himself is the symbol of the quality and of how customers are seriously managed. It started badly, honnestly, as the 4x4 car was faulty, but JP reacted like a rocket ! He immediately found another car from another company, and the tour was able to start only few minutes later. It means that when you do your job seriously, you know some people "doing like you", and therefore everyone can help each other. This kind of relationship is also a proof of quality . Besides, JP is a fun guy AND a pro-guy. He loves what he's doing, he drives the dunes safely, he knows many things about the area of course, but he is also a talented photographer and that's also why I ordered the Dunes photo tour in late afternoon. And we were not desappointed AT ALL ! Despite a strong wind, we were completely alone and the landscape and the atmosphere were epic ! In short : perfect organisation, entertaining, ideal for photographying, and with a nice guy : what more do you want, honestly?

Jacques, our guide, picked us up from our Walvis Bay hotel to arrive at the top of Sandwich Harbour before sunrise. He brought us to his favorite spot to take pictures. During the excursion he gave us a lot of information about fauna, flora, history... He is very attentive, takes the time and knows how to keep a proper distance. Besides, he's a good driver in the dunes. In short it was a very nice time and I recommend completely!
