Viaje para Belém, Jericó e Qaser Al Yahud - excursão guiada de Jerusalém
Descrição
Começaremos nosso passeio pelas colinas da Judéia até Belém. Na chegada, pedalaremos pela cidade e veremos os principais atrativos antes de chegar à Praça da Manjedoura. Lá teremos uma visita guiada à Igreja da Natividade onde Jesus nasceu em uma caverna subterrânea onde a igreja foi construída. Em seguida faremos uma pequena caminhada com o guia até a Igreja da Gruta do Leite. Depois de terminarmos, iremos até a cidade de Beit Sahour, a cidade dos Pastores. Aí teremos uma visita guiada à Capela do Campo dos Pastores. Continuando o nosso passeio teremos uma visita de 25 minutos a uma fábrica de oliveira e a uma loja cooperativa. Por último visitaremos uma das cidades mais singulares em história e geografia do mundo, Jericó. Visitaremos os locais bíblicos e históricos mais importantes da cidade e também o rio Jordão. *Certifique-se de trazer seu passaporte *É necessária troca de veículo. Itinerário
Uma visita guiada completa à Igreja da Natividade. A Igreja é uma das mais antigas igrejas trabalhadoras existentes hoje. A primeira igreja foi construída pelo imperador romano Constantino no século IV dC, sobre a gruta onde Maria deu à luz Jesus. A igreja está localizada onde Jesus nasceu em Belém.
A Igreja de Santa Catarina é um mosteiro franciscano. Diz-se que foi construído no local da aparição de Cristo a Santa Catarina de Alexandria e sua previsão de seu martírio no início do século IV.
A igreja da Gruta do Leite é o local onde a Sagrada Família encontrou refúgio durante o Massacre dos Inocentes, antes que eles pudessem fugir para o Egito. O nome deriva da história de que uma "gota de leite" da Virgem Maria caiu no chão da caverna e mudou sua cor para branco.
A Capela do Campo do Pastor. Marca o local onde os anjos anunciaram o nascimento de Cristo. A Capela dos Pastores é um edifício religioso da igreja católica que fica na área de Beit Sahur, a sudeste de Belém, na Cisjordânia, na Palestina. A Caverna de Jerônimo está localizada abaixo da Igreja de Santa Catarina, e também pode ser acessada de lá. São Jerônimo, um sacerdote dálmata (345-420 d.C.), traduziu grande parte do Antigo Testamento do hebraico e do grego para o latim "Vulgata".
A Ordem da Bem-Aventurada Virgem Maria do Monte Carmelo não tem um único fundador, mas foi fundada por um grupo de eremitas que vivem perto da “Primavera de Elias” no Monte Carmelo, com duas raízes de sua espiritualidade: o profeta Elias e a Virgem Mary. No início do século 13 os eremitas receberam uma regra de vida, que foi escrita por Santo Alberto, Patriarca de Jerusalém.
A Igreja da Natividade na cidade velha de Belém
Aida, também escrito 'Ayda, é um campo de refugiados palestino situado a 2 km ao norte do centro histórico de Belém e 1 km ao norte de Beit Jala.
A Galeria de Arte Bab idDeir é um espaço artístico e cultural independente em Belém, localizado no bairro Deik, parte da histórica cidade velha de Belém.
Deir Hajla ou Deir Hijleh é o nome árabe do Mosteiro Ortodoxo Grego de São Gerasimus. Está localizado na província de Jericó, na Cisjordânia, a oeste do rio Jordão e ao norte do Mar Morto.
Nesse Evangelho, ouvimos falar de Jesus passando por Jericó. Zaqueu morava lá e era “chefe dos cobradores de impostos e rico”. Ele estava “tentando ver quem era Jesus”, mas era baixo, então subiu em “um sicômoro” para vê-lo enquanto passava. Jesus pára, chama-o e convida-se para jantar na casa de Zaqueu - para desespero do povo de Jericó - e o cobrador de impostos se converte no local.
O Palácio de Hisham é um importante sítio arqueológico islâmico primitivo da dinastia omíada da primeira metade do século VIII, um dos chamados castelos do deserto omíada. Ele está localizado em Khirbat al-Mafjar, 5 km ao norte da cidade de Jericó, Cisjordânia.
O Monte da Tentação está localizado a cerca de 3 km a noroeste de Jericó, que fica a cerca de 58 km a leste de Jerusalém, Israel. A montanha fica no deserto da Judéia e tem vista para o Vale do Jordão. Depois de ser batizado por João Batista, Jesus retirou-se para o deserto para meditar e jejuar, montanha onde se acredita que Jesus passou 40 dias e 40 noites de contemplação espiritual. Não pegamos teleférico nem visitamos a montanha neste passeio
Tell es-Sultan, também conhecido como Tel Jericho ou Jericó Antigo, é o local de Jericó antigo e bíblico e hoje é um sítio arqueológico nomeado pela UNESCO na Cisjordânia, localizado a dois quilômetros ao norte do centro de Jericó
Em exposição no museu estão vestígios arqueológicos, incluindo uma riqueza de belos mosaicos do período bizantino. Uma ala do museu é dedicada à história da comunidade samaritana, sua história e costumes.

A very good good tour. Monday was a slow day, so not a lot of people. Tour guys were really informative. Importante to bring cash for Jericho entrances. I recommend.
Certainly Bethelem is worth a whole day of visit, but if you need to save time, this excursion going also to Jericó and Jordan river is very convenient. It´s possible to feel a bit of the desert during the trip and the palestinian side of Israel. My tour didn´t go to the cable car and the monastry inJerico. They replaced it with the mosaic Al Hashim, which is magnificent and I really support this change.
We REALLY enjoyed this opportunity to safely see some of the renowned sites within the West Bank. Bethlehem was an absolute highlight! As was our first guide, Elias. He was wonderfully informative and engaging... but best of all, he was HILARIOUS. He could be a stand-up comedian, I kid you not. His comedic timing was impeccable and that helped to keep our daughters -- ages 11 and 13 -- absolutely enthralled with his recounting of historic, religious history. The afternoon at the Jordan River and Jericho were also good, as was the guide.. But it's the morning session that convinced us this was an excellent investment. The ONLY disappointment: This tour suggested a brief stop at (or at least drive by of) a Palestinian refugee camp... that did not happen. Not sure if it was due to timing or what, but I had personally hoped for that part of the tour, as well, to help round out the "balance" of our overall experience. Overall, I still highly recommend this tour!
very nice trip. we had a guide also for the second part (Jerico and Giordano) even if it was not included in the tour. Second guide, by the way, excellent!!!
The birthplace of Jesus was very beautiful and the holiest place in the world the church is very big and attractive the tour guide was very funny and brilliant he explained everything about the church and all the holy places in Bethlehem he makes our visit unforgettable Thank you.

This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip. We absolutely loved the different tour guides we worked with and the knowledge and experiences that they shared with us. I was a little worried seeing the itinerary that it would be too many churches that would all blend together and bore my young kids, but each one was very different and had so many different stories to share. One slight problem - when booking, I was mostly concerned with avoiding activities on Shabbat that would be closed to us but I didn't think about the fact that all of these churches would have services on Sundays that would make it difficult to see them. Toward the beginning of the day it worked out in our favor because we had extra time to squeeze in a few other sights that normally weren't included on the tour. But we ended up having a very long wait at the Nativity Church to wait until the services concluded and the other people in the church kept getting annoyed at us waiting there. On the other hand, our guides were on top of it and made sure we were among the first in line, while other groups had a significantly longer wait. I think one of the best things about the tour though was that I not only got to learn fascinating facts about the rich history (my mind can't even comprehend the thousands of years of people that all were in that area) but also a lot about the modern problems and the different opinions of different local people depending on which side of the wall they live. It put so much into perspective for me.

The tour guides were very knowledgable and were very kind people. Felt always safe and in competent hands which was very important to me. The guides were eager to answer every question that arised and looked on the issues of the visited area with a refreshingly neutral view.
