Family boat trip, swimming in a bay with clear water.
Best day of our holiday! Boat was clean with toilets and a not overpriced bar on board for drinks and food. The kids loved the swim stop off and jumping off the boat. We had about an hour and 40 mins on Spinalonga which was plenty of time to look around and to get and drink from the cafe. Entrance fee to Spinalonga is €20 for adults but the children went for free. Announcements and tour information were given in multiple languages. My only niggle was that it was difficult to hear what was being said on the PA system.

We really enjoyed this half day tour around the islands with a really good visit to Spinalonga (€20 entrance fee to get onto the island - worth every cent!). The English speaking guide was excellent with a huge knowledge about the island, thank you for helping us understand what happened here. Would definitely recommend this boat trip and visit to Spinalonga! Really good value for money.

Very enjoyable and reasonably priced 1/2 day trip. The boat was clean and plenty of options in terms of seating. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The boat was like a ferry moving slowly . Arrived at Spinalonga island to find a building site . There is one very expensive cafe 😆 We expected a little town or village

Went on this trip last week which me and my wife enjoyed very much and the scenery was lovely. There was one 30 min swim stop also it went to a little island which you could get off for 1 and a half hours but you have to pay extra to walk around, we had lunch which was ok and there is a proper food menu on board with a good selection of drinks which we found a bit expensive but overall I would recommend this trip out of this lovely little town.

Having watched the boat sail past our hotel daily we booked a trip to the island, choosing a larger boat as it can get quite choppy in places. Smooth sailing with reasonably priced drinks on board. Plenty of space. Great level of info about Spinalonga from Gloria in English, audio options available in other languages. God amount of time to explore on the island.

Spinalonga is an exciting destination, especially if you are historically interested. We chose this trip because it was a half-day trip. We were not interested in either swimming or having lunch included in the excursion. It was a 30-minute swim stop on the way to Spinalonga but we had to put up with it, but it was a cool feeling to see Spinalonga from the seaside when we arrived and rounded it. The island is full of remains from the old leper colony that existed there between 1903 and 1957 but also from the fortifications built there during the 16th century. Anyone who wants to see everything and climb to the top needs good legs, it is steep uphill and there are loose rocks and gravel on the way down. But even for those who do not want to climb so much, there is enough to see and take part of. The history of the island is worth a visit.

From Agios Nikolaos we stopped for a swim off the boat. I was expecting to get off onto a beach. The English speaking guide was very informal. Very big group so stopped at 2 locations and given the information. After that we walked around and back on the boat. If you want in depth information you need a private tour to give you time to read the information. It was enough for us.
