Simply never showed up to pick us up, no phone calls or anything
Not the Oxman Cenote as seen in the pictures. Bad bus with smelling toilet. Hardly any explanations in English. Tour contents do not match the planned route.
This tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. We started at Chichén Itzá, which was absolutely stunning—so much history and the guide made it really engaging. Then we cooled off at Cenote Oxman, which was seriously magical. The water was super refreshing and the place itself felt like something out of a movie. Finally, we visited Valladolid, a beautiful little town with colorful streets and delicious food. Such a nice way to end the day! Everything was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and the team was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this tour if you're in the area!
Chichen itza is a very interesting place and this tour has everything, we were picked up at our hotel in Cancun and the we visited Chichen Itza, a cenote and valladolid, the food was ok, the people very nice and the cenote was great. Yes this tour is recommended
Finally, my family and I discovered Chichen Itza, and we did it with this company that was so friendly from the start. Honestly, the guides were very well-trained and spoke almost perfect English. We also went to Valladolid, which is a beautiful place. We wanted to have dinner there, but we spent too much time shopping for souvenirs. Overall, the tour was excellent and I highly recommend it for families. Thanks for everything, and a special mention to Manolo, our guide
I booked days in advance and not even 12 hours before they told me to cancel and reschedule to a different end. I asked for a refund and they did not respond. I could not reschedule as my flight was the very next day
Great experience. Sweet and funny guide Jorge (38) and his sweet helper and the busdriver. Nice people. The tour itself was very touristy. Guiding you from one touristy trap to another. The buffet was just ok, but the drinks were amazing. Chitzen Itza guided tour and free time was perfect. Time at Cenote was just fine. Time at valliodad was way too short. Only around 20min, I would have preffered it to be atleast an hour to an hour and a half. Very confusing trip in the start. Asking you to pay fees before going on the bus, but in reality you need to get on a (transfer) bus first, go to a transfer place, pay fees there, and then take a different bus ( that will be your bus for the rest of the day) You can buy Snacks and water/soda/ beer/ bugspray/ sunscreen on the bus. Very convinent.
Booking company did not act how I expected. They changed my meeting point and didn’t even give a 24 hour notice. The transportation service was great and so was the guide. In my opinion too much time is spent at Chi Chen Itzá and not enough time at the cenote or Valladolid. The cenote that was advertised was Oxman and we were taken to a completely different one. Once we arrived we were give 1 hour but by the time you rent the life jackets and lockers your left with less than 30 minutes. We were told we would be at Valladolid for 30 and they ended up giving us 20 min.
Quality of the bus and good tour guide, meets the destinations offered, the tour is all day you have to prepare. The best visit is Chichen Itza and Cenote, the village of Valladolid was a short visit and I can only rescue the very nice square and the church because of the antiquity it has. I did not like the visit to the Mayan town, everything very commercial misses the essence of the trip, although the food was very good.
I had an incredible experience going to Chichen Itza, Oxman Cenote, and Vallodolid. Our guide was Jorge. He was so entertaining, funny, someone you could really connect with! His ability to relay everything simultaneously in Spanish and English amazed me. Jorge was our favorite person we interected with on our entire Mexico trip. He was very knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information on the Mayans and even translated for our Mayan shaman. Banuk was shadowing Jorge this trip, he was funny and did really well talking to the tourists and gave great information. And of course our bus driver Jose was helpful and reliable, and very friendly. Overall this trip was our favorite experience, and couldn't recommend it enough!
