Para grupos de até 4, 8 ou 16 passageiros, esta excursão privada de um dia de York, apenas para a sua festa, oferece a oportunidade de explorar o Bronte Country e o Parque Nacional dos Dales do Yorkshire, incluindo o West Yorkshire Pennine Village of Haworth (famoso pelas irmãs Bronte e lar do Museu Bronte Parsonage), Bingley Five Rise Locks (a característica mais espetacular do Leeds e do Canal do Liverpool), a tradicional aldeia dos Dales do Yorkshire de Linton (com suas pontes de pedra e quedas de pedra calcária), Abadia de Bolton (onde você verá o cenário deslumbrante das ruínas do Monastério Augusto do século 12); e desfrutar do cenário espetacular do Parque Nacional dos Dales do Yorkshire.

Itinerário
Partimos para Bronte Country, com o seu guia explicando a história e as características da região ao atravessar Marston Moor, passando pela tradicional cidade comercial de Wetherby e vendo o espetacular viaduto de Arthington sobre o rio Wharfe.
Nossa primeira parada é no Bingley Five Rise Locks, onde você verá o mais alto Staircase Lock no Reino Unido, um feito espetacular de engenharia construído em 1774 como parte do Canal de Leeds e Liverpool. Você pode explorar e fotografar os bloqueios de trabalho, ou apenas desfrutar de uma agradável Yorkshire Brew e absorver a atmosfera local no café nas proximidades - a escolha é sua!
Deixamos Bingley para a curta viagem até nossa parada principal em Haworth, na beira dos acidentados Pennine Moors, onde a família Bronte viveu desde 1820 e as irmãs escreveram seus romances famosos, para uma parada de duas horas no almoço. Você pode visitar o Museu Paroquial de Bronte e a Capela Memorial de Bronte na igreja vizinha, onde seu pai pregava, ou simplesmente explorar as lojas pitorescas na rua principal de paralelepípedos e almoçar em um dos cafés tradicionais - a escolha é sua!
Deixamos Haworth e subimos Penistone Hill para uma parada fotográfica para admirar as vistas do charneca em direção a Top Withens, onde as Irmãs Bronte caminharam para obter inspiração antes de seguirmos para o norte para nossa tarde no Parque Nacional de Yorkshire Dales.
Você chegará à pitoresca vila tradicional de Dales, em Linton, onde pararemos para fotografar as Cataratas de Linton antes de continuar nossa jornada pelo Parque Nacional.
A parada principal da tarde é na Abadia de Bolton, onde a entrada é gratuita e você poderá explorar a Igreja do Priorado e as ruínas do Priorado Agostiniano do século XII, em seu belo cenário ribeirinho, ou talvez enfrentar o desafio de trampolins se estiver se sentindo mais aventureiro !
Deixamos a Bolton Abbey para continuar nossa jornada pelos Dales de volta a York, passando por Harrogate e aprendendo um pouco sobre a história desta famosa cidade termal.

The sceneries of Yorkshire dales are spectacular! We all enjoyed the trip tremendously. Mark, our excellent driver and tour guide, was very dedicated. He made extra efforts to maximize what we could see during the 8-hour tour. Absolutely worthwhile!

What a lovely day with Chris, our driver! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and patient with us when we took a bit of extra time for lunch and photos.

Charlotte Brontë has a special place in my heart. It was so special for me to visit her home. It really was like stepping into her life. On top of that, we visited the classic Yorkshire town of Grassington for a cuppa. Our guide, Chris, knew this area and was extremely informative and accommodating. Great day.

I loved the little farms separated by hedges and typical scenes out of storybooks, sheep...even experienced the Yorkshire traffic jam of sheep. Wonderful host and a great tour for mobility reduced people. They need a portable step for the van though. That first step up makes it very hard for short or people with mobility issues to get into the van. Easy pick up spot in the city and good long tour. At the end of the day I felt like I had seen it all. Such a knowledgeable and experienced guide, sadly I don't remember his name...unless it was Bob himself. Lots of good stops and good long bathroom breaks so we never felt rushed

Let me preface this by saying I love Viator and have had many wonderful experiences with them. This time we Toured the parsonage at Haworth and explored the Yorkshire dales. This has been a lifelong dream to visit the home of the Brontes and see the moors. It was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the regular driver had a medical emergency and we had a substitute driver. He was lovely but didn't know much about the Brontes. Still a great day but I feel I would've learned more with the regular driver so that was a bit of a disappointment for an expensive private tour. I understand emergencies can't be helped but perhaps a backup who is more familiar with the tour or a price cut? Nevertheless, it was wonderful to see Haworth.
Howard was our guide. He was awesome and the best. Funny, kind, informative, and he made the trip wonderful. We loved his sense of humor and he was so knowledgeable of the area. This was an amazing day. Highly recommended!
Now utterly understandable why Yorkshire is called "God's own country". Fabolous tour brilliantly explained. Punctual, excellent & considerate driving. Mark is a top class guide, and the service from the beginning with BOBH great. Thank you BOBH folks for making 2 of my 5 day holiday so very good. (But be warned: you are encouraged to eat ice cream...). Every detail that I could have asked for in a day out was 5*. I suggest you book any of their tours well in advance.

A wonderful day out to Haworth Parsonage, returning via beautiful Bolton Abbey. Our driver Howard was punctual, charming, knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed showing off this beautiful part of the world. Would book for similar without hesitation.

I was the only person who had booked this day trip because of going at the very end of November ie right at the end of the season. Mark, the guide and driver was excellent: very knowledgeable and concerned about my comfort. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to go to Haworth and beyond from York.
