A perfect day from start to finish. Thank you for this wonderful adventure!

We took a family excursion to snorkel and watch turtles – an experience that was simply unforgettable for the whole family. We saw many turtles, it was magical! A particularly striking moment was when a turtle passed just 20 centimetres from me, with incredible grace and lightness. And the icing on the cake: we were incredibly lucky to see a dugong, a rare marine animal and a perfect day from start to finish. Thank you for this wonderful adventure! A unique and moving moment that we will never forget. A perfect day from start to finish. Thank you for this wonderful adventure!

Great reunion joy

Finally it was time again... Overnight trip on the MY Gloria. When I was in Egypt last year, unfortunately, she was on dry dock and I had to wait until this year. The joy was all the greater. It didn't start until the afternoon. I was picked up from the hotel and we drove to the outer port in Port Ghalib, where we went to the Zodiak and drove through the canals. I hadn’t seen Port Ghalib from below either, was also interesting. The MY Gloria was berthed in the marina of Port Ghalib next to the sailing ship Gloria RoYal. Arrived I was assigned my cabin. The cabin was clean, the beds freshly made, equipped with air conditioning and private toilet including shower. There was a very detailed briefing about the whole boat, as well as how to operate the radio in an emergency with the frequencies 10 for Port Ghalib and 16 internationally, where the oxygen cylinders for first aid are located, the compressor was shown to you, etc. In total I did four dives, I had a very well filled bottle each time, both quantitatively and qualitatively. But now, in turn. We took off and off we went to Marsa Mubarak. This is one of my favorite dive sites, always with the chance to see the dugong or turtles. Once in Marsa Mubarak, I found that the other submersibles were leaving the dive site. The advantage if you only start the diving trip in the afternoon. First there was a late lunch with everyone around. By the time we were done, all the submersibles had really disappeared, only the glass bottom boat had arrived after us. We got ready for the first dive. Miso, the boss himself, led the dive. We jumped off the boat and had a coral block right below us, under which a moray eel peered out, it can hardly begin any better. In Marsa Mubarak you dive over a seagrass meadow and it is almost always worth it. First we had a very nice flower-shaped anemone that was well attended. Then we saw a guitar shark, unfortunately I was too slow with my camera, but Miso was faster and caught him still on the lens. And on top of that we saw a turtle dive, there were even two. I bought a small underwater camera just last year and am still a newcomer to underwater photography, but here I managed to take one of my favorite photos. We then dived to the coral blocks and then finished this beautiful dive directly on the boat. On board the staff helped very caringly and also changed the bottle for the next dive. For refreshment we had melon and cookies and we drove on to the next dive site in Marsa Shona. Once there we had enough time to admire the sunset. It is always special to look at this from the ship. It's a very homely atmosphere and you just enjoy it. After the sun had finally set and it was slowly getting really dark, we got ready for our night dive. From Miso I had received an underwater lamp with fluorescent light. This highlights the colours of some corals very specifically. I experienced this effect for the first time and was thrilled. It made the night dive a very special experience, it was mega. During our dive the chef had done magic again in his small galley and we had a very delicious dinner. After dinner we divers made ourselves comfortable on the sundeck and enjoyed the starry sky. At one point I lay down to sleep under the stars and fell asleep. When I woke up in the morning, I was alone and enjoyed the sunrise very exclusively. I was actually the first to be woken up by the morning light. It's those quiet moments that you soak up. So slowly the whole boat woke up and we enjoyed the morning light and drank coffee. It was one of my most family boat trips I've ever taken. It was all very relaxed and just nice and lovable people, including the staff, on board. In a good mood we made an early morning dive, the fish felt asleep as well as actually still. Afterwards, there was an extensive and delicious breakfast. Freshly strengthened we made another final dive, which was also my last one this holiday. I said goodbye to each coral once more. This overnight trip was for me the crowning conclusion of a very nice holiday, also I made new friends. In Marsa Mubarak we said goodbye to the other divers and then surprisingly there was a cozy picnic on board the MY Gloria in the middle of the marina of Port Ghalib. Miso thank you so much for everything, it was fantastic. Chocolate crane. I am already looking forward to my next holiday and would like to sail towards the sunset on the Gloria RoYal. As they say: After the holiday is before the holiday.

We fell in love with diving!

I chose the diving center in Qusayr for a very long time. They picked these guys, and we really enjoyed it. The instructor was with us the entire time underwater, so everything went comfortably and calmly. Recommended to everyone.
