Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. He introduced us to the highlights of each sight, then gave us free time to explore on our own. If you watch historical Kdramas, this tour is for you!
He was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Entertaining tour! Would recommend this to anyone visiting Seoul.
We had a great time with Moon. They were actually filming when we arrived and he helped us navigate the sets and get a look at the filming. My mom is a HUGE k-drama fan so she was thrilled The Korean Folk Village was full of school kids when we arrived and he helped us avoid that chaos while providing some great historical info.
Our Guide and driver Moon was very friendly and spoke perfect English. He first took us to the historic village which is very interesting to see the different types of dwelling. He gave us directions at the entrance for the tour and restaurant dishes then let us walk around. After lunch we went to the MBC studios, saw the sets of the dramas of the Joseon era and we had the chance to attend a shoot with many people in costume. We were able to walk everywhere, it was magical. It's a day that costs money, but it's full of eyes!
Danny was a native english speaker, so there was no problem with communication on our tour. Danny personally took us around the Korean Folk Village and Yongin Daejanggeum Park showing us the best of each place and using humour to make the day even more enjoyable. We got to see each place we wanted with minimal fuss, and Danny adapted the day to best suit our needs. Thank you Danny for making the day so much fun, and for your brilliant conversation and insight on where we went! You were part of why Korea was so enjoyable during this visit.
Our guide Moonhak Song was excellent. He guided us half way thru the parks and then left us to explore on our own. The van was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our tour.
Very good experience with a very good driver! Song is kindly and speaks English very well. The MBC Park is an incredible place to visit if you are a fan of Korean dramas! The Korean Folk Village is a very interresting place too. The stops were a bit short but it’s normal because the daily program was dense. We recommand it! Thank you Song for this unforgettable day!
This was such a great experience! Our guide Song was very thoughtful and knowledgeable, and eager to show us around. It rained on us all day but that didn’t diminish our experience or enthusiasm. The folk village had canceled most of the demonstrations due to the rain, but we did see some of the traditional craftsmen making goods. Then the highlight of the trip was Dae Jang Geum park. Since there was rain we had the entire place to ourselves and it was so peaceful and beautiful. I liked seeing the sets from the dramas - I felt like I stepped back in time. We are BTS Army so seeing the Daechwita filming sites was probably the best part for us. The architecture was just so beautiful, and our guide explained each area and gave some info on the dramas filmed there.
