Deixaremos Muscat para Jabal Shams, antes de começar a dirigir até Jabal Shams fazemos uma parada para ver a antiga aldeia de Wadi Ghul 2000 anos de idade localizada aos pés da Montanha Ghul e pode ser visto em seu caminho para Jabal Shams, foi abandonado por seus habitantes e ninguém ficou, foi construído de pedras sólidas.
A partir daí continuamos a nossa viagem de carro até Jabal Shams (Jabal Mean Mountain, Shams Mean Sun), esta estrada de montanha conduz até a montanha Jebel Shams (O Grand Canyon de Omã) 3009 metros é uma das montanhas mais aventureiras de Omã, oferecendo emocionantes experiências off-road e vistas fantásticas, chegamos à vista do cânion que é de 2000 metros, paramos lá e apreciamos a vista e foto.
De Jabal Shams descemos até Wadi Al Nakhar, Wadi Al Nakhr é amplamente popular como o Grand Canyon do Oriente Médio, belos locais, uma vista espetacular cujo nome deriva da palavra local (necrose), que significa o processo de escultura em rocha «erosão» como a água deste vale se formou durante os períodos de tempo. Wadi Al Nakhar é um dos vales mais profundos de Omã devido às suas características geográficas, o grande desfiladeiro de Jabal Shams é considerado a fonte de água mais importante já que a sua grande abertura conduz a vales e recifes que formam o vale de Al Nakhar.
De Wadi Al Nakhar dirigimos em direção a Misfat Al Abriyeen. Esta vila pitoresca fica em uma encosta íngreme aos pés de Jebel Shams e consiste em casas antigas e ruas estreitas. tem um sistema de falaj para muitos jardins de frutas, palmeiras e legumes, vale a pena passar algum tempo caminhando pela aldeia. This is an excellent tour for anyone looking to explore the area around Al Hamra. We booked it mainly to get to Jebel Shams, since most tours pair it with Nizwa, which we had already visited. We’re very glad we chose this one as both Wadi Nakhr and Misfat al Abriyyin turned out to be well worth the stops. Our guide, Ali, was extremely friendly and shared lots of knowledge about Omani culture, history, and hospitality, and we were especially impressed by his off-roading skills. Despite covering many locations, the trip felt very accessible and comfortable throughout.
