O Parque Nacional de Chobe fica no norte de Botsuana, perto do vasto interior do Delta do Okavango. É conhecido por seus grandes rebanhos de elefantes e búfalos, que convergem ao longo do rio Chobe nos meses secos. Leões, antílopes e hipopótamos habitam os bosques e lagoas em torno do Pântano Linyanti. Os campos inundáveis do Pântano Savuti atraem inúmeras espécies de aves, além de zebras migratórias.

Este safari de um dia dá a oportunidade de ver de perto a fantástica vida das aves, hipopótamos, crocodilos e, claro, as dezenas de elefantes e búfalos que descem até ao rio para matar a sua sede no Parque Nacional de Chobe. em Botsuana. As promised this was an excellent experience. the guides were knowledgeable and experienced, knew the area well & managed to show us most of the animals listed. The lunch break was good with a buffet spread. After lunch we embarked on the boat trip on the river, seeing the animals close up that was not possible from land. All in all a trip well worth the money spent.

As an Asian and a first-timer in Africa, this is a must-do trip. I attended a workshop in Livingstone, Zambia and after the event, we decided to go on a game drive in Botswana. We looked for tour operators in Viator and decided on Royal African Experiences since they were the first to respond to our query and their listed quote in Facebook was cheaper. The tour was fascinating and informative. Questions on animals, plants, habitats, and even socio-economics were answered by the very articulate and knowledgeable guides (one on the Zambian and Botswana guides). They also guided us with Botswana immigration since we needed an entry visa for Botswana.
