This trip was so well organized. The included activities were interesting and Norman was such a fun tour guide snd definitely a character. From start to finish and at every stop they made sure you knew exactly what to do. Going by train was a great way to see the country. I’m so glad we booked this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

It was very good. Our tour guide John Todd was very kind and help us a lot during our travel throught out the whole Journey.
We really appreciated the efficiency the tour provided. We didn’t have to wait for anything. Our guide david caise was excellent. He went above and beyond for everyone.
Bed and Breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed the Ring of Kerry and the knowledge the driver had. The country side was unbelievably beautiful!
We had a great time due to our driver/guide Ray. We saw everything we expected to see and more, always with a through explanation. We had some rain, but that didn’t stop us. The B&B was in a good location and very nice.
Not knowing anything about the tours sites, it was a perfect tour to choose for us. Peter was our guide and he was very personable and knowledgeable about the areas we covered. The best part was an unmentioned little side trip to see how an Irish lad trained sheep dogs. Doesn't sound like much, but it was incredible awesome. We stayed in a B&B in Killarney which had a very nice owner and pretty comfy room however as a spoiled American: the bathroom was w-a-y too small. It also had a door that blew lightly in the door jam all night that kept me awake. Overall though it was very nice. Full Irish Breakfast is not the same as huge spread of food in a hotel breakfast room but it was OK. All the places we visited on the tour had the history well explained ahead of time and questioned were taken and answered intelligently. It was well organized on time. Trains, buses and transfers were easy and on time. The trains were super smooth, clean, and comfortable. September seems to be the best most for this part of Ireland. Perhaps not dependably but overall, September has the best weather for more sun and warmer days. It also has fewer tourists and crowds. ;) I will look at other tours from this site as it was truly helpful. One more thing: after I purchased the tour, I had a few questions here and there. When I email Viator, I received swift responses with the information for which I had inquired.

This two day tour was definitely NOT worth the price. The B and B they picked for us was two-star at best. Musty odor in room, long walk to town. We discovered that nicer and more convenient B and B's were available but the Ireland-based tour operator obviously wanted to save money! When I complained about the room, our host, was no help at all. Just told us to take it up with management. But he stayed at a 4-star Hotel in town center.
Also, some stops were just a waste of time, such as an hour-long stop at a local cemetery! Who wants to visit a cemetery on vacation?. And tour of Cork was a joke--amounted to a quick drive-by of town, not even in town center! Finally, restaurant stops were rushed and food/selection was mediocre at best. Would definitely not recommend this particular tour!

For my first time in Ireland I spent a decent amount of time in Dublin and then went on this tour. Must say, the two day tour was probably the best money spent in a while. Norman is an amazing guy and probably knows the name of every person in the country...at the least they probably know him. Tim and Kevin the bus operators were also great...and most importantly kept us safe on the twisty roads of the Ring. Looking forward to my return trip!!!
