We went out today on the half day fishing trip. The tides were horrible but we had so much fun. The Captain was great and Jack his mate was awesome and so helpful. We didn’t catch anything big or keepable but it was so much fun. We did catch a ton of small fish and small salt cats. Definitely worth the money. Plus we saw so many dolphins and even a sea turtle.

Based on weather the location and trip details can change but either way you will have a great boat ride and wonderful scenery and fun fishing. Captain and the Skipper were friendly and funny and super helpful. I caught a baby hammerhead shark and my husband caught a small white fish despite the windy weather.

We went on 8a trip. We had about 5 people puke on the boat. We are assuming it was bc of the heat. Wyatt was very attentive to the people. Robert, the captain, was funny. We didn't catch much. It was a good family trip. You can bring your own cooler, for cold drinks. They do sell some for $2. Also, pack the motion sickness pills. Families were passing it around like candy.

Three hours of driving with about an hour of fishing. More miserable than fun. Captain is basically phoning it in at this point. They would have to PAY ME to go again.
It takes about an hour and twenty minutes to get to the reef, give or take a few minutes depending on the tide. So, there is about two hours of fishing. Not sure what you mean about the captain, but he does have about 45 years of experience. Thanks for fishing with us.
We had a great trip with a captain from my hometown in the Bronx. He was very professional and service-oriented, even though we had to limit our range due to the wind. We had to stay off shoreline to shark fishing. We didn't end up catching any sharks, but it was fun watching other people on the boat land a few.
It's a very fun family activity when you want a break from the beach. The price is very affordable for a fishing charter

Well we booked an off shore deep sea fishing and once at the dock the captain said he was staying inshore and we would be fishing for sharks instead. There were only a handful of full of very small sharks caught and then he ended the trip an hour early. We were both very disappointed
The trip was an inshore trip due to the offshore conditions being a little too rough to go out. We never want to get anyone seasick if we can help it so we stayed in the calmer inshore waters of Calibogue Sound. Everyone was given the option of going another day offshore or going on a shorter, inshore shark fishing trip for less money. Everyone was refunded the difference between the offshore trip cost and the shorter inshore shark fishing trip. I am glad that sharks were caught and sorry that you were disappointed. It is hard to control the weather but we try to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
Very poor experience. Should be posted as a fishing trip for kids. Customers should be warned that overcrowding is capable of due to weather.
Sorry that you feel the fishing trip was geared just towards kids. We catch a lot of small fish but we also do catch some larger ones. The day you went fishing we had some people on the boat that had to be rescheduled because of the previous day's inclement weather. As you know, fishing can be great some days and some days you enjoy a boat ride and you wish the fish were biting. Thanks for coming out with us.
