Viagem de ida e volta à degustação de vinhos de Hvar - Winery at a Hilltop

Let's start with the positives. The views are amazing and worth the trip. The family was very knowledgeable about their wine and we love that they focus on just 6 wines. The food pairing was a generous portion for 2 people with a beautiful layout. The wines are young. Worth trying but in my opinion, need more time to develop. They are on the right track though. A few things to note that we weren't aware of until we were picked up. You ride up in a all terrain vehicle, which you climb up metal stairs to get to. Once up there, you are seated in jump seats similar to race cars, with 3 point harnesses. I wore a dress. You do the math. Also, I am a size 12 and my hips barely fit in the seat. My husband struggled as well. Its a 30 minute bumpy drive to the other side of the Island. The drive itself was filled with beautiful scenery on the way up to the winery. But if you have any physical restrictions or back problems, this trip is not for you. It was an adventure and definitely worth doing, you have to decide if its right for you.

Very nice visit place to taste good wines

What an absolutely awesome trip. Tasted some lovely wines and local food. This was shared with 2 other lovely couples from Ireland and Oxford, whom we had not met before. The whole experience was 10 out of 10 and would recommend anyone visiting to give it a try.

A good way to spend a few hours without having to travel too far. Nice car ride to the vineyard in the hills. You do not get to explore but are seated immediately and are then offered 6 different wines to taste (surprisingly good!!) along with some excellent cheese & meat platters. The host explained how each wine was produced - very interesting. I deducted one star because I did feel it was overpriced for what it is.

Great wine selection. Got to try orange wine for the first time. Lovely cheese plate. Easy pick up location. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

We had a fantastic wine tasting trip in Hvar and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Toni picked us up right on time from the bus station in Hvar Town, and he had already messaged us on WhatsApp beforehand so it was very easy to find the meeting point and know exactly what to expect. During the drive, Toni was very informative and shared lots of interesting information about the island, the local area, and the wines. We also stopped along the way at a beautiful viewpoint where he explained the scenery and gave us time to take some photos, which was a really nice touch. The wine tasting itself included six small glasses of wine — three whites, one rosé, and two reds. It’s worth noting that the tasting takes place at the winery with lovely views, rather than directly in the vineyard, but the setting was still very enjoyable and relaxing. After the tasting, we had a scenic drive back to town and got to enjoy even more of the beautiful surroundings of Hvar. Overall, it was a very well-organised and enjoyable experience with great hospitality from Toni.

Brilliant experience! The pick up was easy - we had a message shortly beforehand confirming details. The winery is in a stunning location. The wines were great, my only regret is not buying some to bring home... Highly recommend

Our guide was great. The drive interesting and the history of the local area was great. The food spread provided was nice. The wines were just okay. Once we were served they paid us no attention as they were totally focused on who else was coming in the door

It was absolutely amazing. Our host was incredible and even the driver was extremely kind and gave information during the driving up. Every part of this experience was perfect. 1000% recommend!
