A cidade de Petra, capital dos árabes nabateus, é um dos sítios arqueológicos mais famosos do mundo. Está localizada a 240 km ao sul da capital Amã e a 120 km ao norte da cidade de Aqaba, no Mar Vermelho. Petra, a maravilha do mundo é sem dúvida o tesouro mais valioso e a maior atração turística da Jordânia, e é visitado por turistas de todo o mundo. Não se sabe exatamente quando Petra foi construída, mas a cidade começou a prosperar como capital do Império Nabateu a partir do século I a.C., que enriqueceu através do comércio de incenso, mirra e especiarias. Petra foi posteriormente anexada ao Império Romano e continuou a prosperar até que um grande terremoto em 363 dC destruiu grande parte da cidade no século IV dC.

Nós iremos buscá-lo em qualquer lugar em Aqaba e dirigir até Petra com uma breve parada no caminho. Leva cerca de 2 horas para chegar ao Petra Visitors Center, onde começamos nossa jornada a pé até a 8ª maravilha do mundo. Depois de caminhar 800 m, chegamos ao Siq (um canal de pedra que mede 1200 metros de comprimento, 3 a 12 metros de largura e atinge até 80 metros de altura). O Siq se abre para a fachada mais magnífica de Petra - o Tesouro, ou Al Khazna. Depois do Tesouro, o caminho se alarga em uma ampla Rua de Fachadas ladeada de ambos os lados pelos túmulos que caracterizam todo o local. A Rua das Fachadas nos leva ao teatro de 5.000 lugares, esculpido bem no meio de uma grande área de cemitério: Em frente ao teatro, no lado oeste de Jebel Khubtha, chegamos ao nosso ponto final - Túmulos Reais. Após um passeio pelos Túmulos Reais, de volta a Aqaba. As quatro horas restantes são para transporte.

I had an absolutely great experience.Loiy organized a mile ride and to take me to Wati Rum in the afternoon. Everything was seamless. I saw it all. Thank you. It was expensive but my time was critical. And so worth it😁
Overall the driver was very helpful, honest & clear , he saved us from a bunch of drivers who looked greedy and we definitely recommend this driver & his tours , we did tours in aqaba , even during the crisis in middle east ,he was helpful and didn't take advantage of us.

The Petra experience was an awesome trip from start to finish. Our driver Odai Hamideh "What's apped" us several days prior to the day of the trip to confirm the pickup location and time. His time was flexible because he asked us what time did we want to leave. Also we stayed in Aqaba outside of the pickup zone and he still was able to pickup us for a small fee. Once we got to Petra Odai recommended to take us around to the back entrance and go in there and end up at the main entrance when we were finished. That was a great idea because we got to see more and did not have to backtrack. Once we entered Petra we hired donkeys to take us up to the monestary and back. That was great because we covered more ground quicker. After that we continued our way through Petra taking in all of the beautiful structures along the way. Once we arrived at the Treasury we took a club car back to the entrance and that was recommended by our driver also. This is a remarkable place to visit and pictures do not do any justice. My advice is to enter in the back of Petra take the donkey for a distance and continue making your way to the main entrance because you can see more with less walking. Trip of a Lifetime!
AMAZING!! it was incredible... Petra is so breathtaking and well worth the walk! Our driver was really friendly spoke great english and was happy to stop as and when we needed. He suggested dropping us off at the end of the city, to walk back into petra, so we could see ALL of the sites not just the main treasury ( India Jones!). This took about 3hrs as a leisurely pace and saved us having to walk back another 3hrs! We were lucky, it wasn't busy at all. We got there at midday! Take plenty of water, as it's pretty dear there! There are plenty of toilets along the way to and little shops for last minute snacks. You pick up a map and follow it to see all 13 sights. Super easy! We got the Jordan pass, so this was included saving us the 50JD fee. The little market outside wasn't too pushy and let you look at leasure. As in all a fantastic day out and we'll worth the money. 10/10!
He was an awesome ride and suggested another route to take in Petra, his suggestion made our trip a whole lot better and enjoyable! I 100% recommend taking this trip!

The trip was very beautiful. We stayed at the Ayla Hotel and it was very beautiful. We visited Wadi Rum and Petra with a wonderful transportation service and the workers were nice, respectful and patient with us.
