Marina, our guide, was truly excellent. The tour ended up almost totalling 4-hours with the amount of cicchetti and alcohol you receive/consume it is totally worth it! Marina is super knowledgeable about Venice and it was lovely to receive a little bit of a history lesson into local dishes, traditions, and alcohol. It is essentially like an upgraded version of a history tour with great food and drinks. Also, Marina took us to lesser known places in Venice that were wonderful to see and learn the history of. I recommend booking this tour on your first full day as you get a layout of Venice that is helpful towards the rest of your trip. Definitely worth doing and it’s such a bargain! We were also lucky with our tour group as the American gang were such fun.

I had an absolutely wonderful time on our food tour in Venice with Carlotta! We ate so much delicious food and, at the same time, learned so much about the city, its history, and its traditions.
