No interior, você verá a extraordinária coleção de pinturas venezianas criadas entre os séculos XIV e XVIII por grandes mestres que fizeram a história da pintura europeia. Você pode admirar obras pertencentes à arte bizantina, ao período gótico, até conhecer artistas renascentistas como Bellini, Giorgione, Tintoretto e Carpaccio e os 1600 “paisagistas” como Longhi, Canaletto, Guardi. As Galerias da Academia também acolhem o “Homem Vitruviano”, o famoso desenho a lápis feito por Leonardo da Vinci no final do século XV. Devido ao seu valor inestimável, a obra é exposta apenas em raras ocasiões. Great overview of both the Academia Museum and surrounding neighborhood. Our guide was exceptional with a wealth of information.

Ilaria was brilliant , a fountain of wonderful information and really went out of her way to make the history of venice come alive. We were delayed due to an incident with a pickpocketing attempt - this young lady came and found us and proceeded to give us a wonderful experience- recommend this guide and the tour

Gauda was excellent in introducing us to a significant portion of the collection. Would highly recommend. Was greeted at designated time and did cover historical development of the collection.

Our guide was lovely and gave a great overview of the city and Venetian art. She was early, stayed a bit late to finish, and was great with our young daughter. Our only small complaint is we sometimes exhausted her knowledge of certain technical points, but I imagine this wound not be an issue for most - she was quite knowledgeable.

It was very rewarding to have a private guide to the Accademia in Venice! Our guide put everything in context for us so it was not so overwhelming. She also took us on a wonderful walking tour of the area and pointed out interesting sites such as the Dario Palace "the house that kills". Google it for info. Quite spooky!
