Olá, meu nome é Julia; sou historiadora de arte e também uma das guias oficiais da Tate Modern. Anteriormente, trabalhei como Assistente de Pesquisa de Coleção na Tate e agora estou apresentando uma das Experiências de Arte mais bem-sucedidas de Londres. Não é incomum se sentir intrigado e confuso com uma obra de arte contemporânea. Permita-me guiá-lo pelas galerias da Tate Modern em uma investigação curiosa sobre o que vemos e, com sorte, durante as 2 horas que passaremos juntos, você adquirirá as habilidades de olhar, ver e falar sobre arte. Na Tate Modern, veremos algumas artes fabulosas de um ângulo novo e tentaremos vivenciá-las em um nível mais pessoal, sem ideias preconcebidas. Faça perguntas! Fique animado! Vamos falar sobre arte de uma forma em que nenhuma resposta seja muito grande, ou muito pequena, ou muito certa, ou muito errada. Falaremos em profundidade sobre todas essas questões. Não é necessário conhecimento prévio da técnica, todos são bem-vindos. Julia was very knowledgeable about the artwork in the Tate Modern as well as the building itself. She was also fun to be with. Highly recommend taking one of her tours. You won’t be disappointed.

Very knowledgeable, relatable, pragmatic, and fun guide, we did not notice how fast two hours passed and how much we learned. Greatly recommended. Seeing Tate Modern with a knowledgeable guide is a different experience. Our son also had a wonderful experience learning about art work, artists, and their place culture. Wonderful to spend time with very recent works as well.

Julia masterfully guided us through the vast collection at Tate Modern. I loved her very insightful take on the masterpiece of the modern and contemporary art. She didn't just lecture, but engaged everyone in a group with clever interactive questions that led to better understanding and remembering masterworks of art. I also truly appreciate the care with which Julia made sure everyone is comfortable: one person in our group couldn't stand for a long time. Julia made sure there was a place to sit, so everyone had an equally great experience. Thank you for being such an excellent guide, Julia!

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the museum & artwork. She highlighted works and artists we did not know and provided cultural and art historical context. The tour was expensive. We were glad we did it.
