Vancouver Walking Tour: Explore principais pontos turísticos e gemas escondidas

It was booked as a group tour but ended up being a private tour with Shima. Shima was very friendly and open to suggestions on where we would like to go. We enjoyed the view from the top floor of the Public Library and walking through the Sun Yat Sen Garden.
Uniformed guide, no real route, often incorrect information. Mainly about social problems and not about history.
Dear Caryl, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. We take your comments seriously and will share them with our guide to review the accuracy of the information presented and the overall content of the tour. The tour guide did not have a high level of English, and had a heavy accent, so I was only able to understand 65% of what she said. It was a 2 hour tour, and after 55 minutes as if we wanted to end the tour or continue to see other things??
Dear Scott, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and for joining our tour. The tour was conducted and included the planned points of interest. Our guides strive to create an interactive experience and adapt the pace of the tour to the interests and preferences of participants whenever possible. We value all guest feedback and will continue working to provide enjoyable experiences for visitors from around the world. Thank you again for joining us. Have a nice day!
We booked the tour for 10am and were given a very specific meeting place. The evening prior we received a request to meet Shima at 930a. We agreed and arrived promptly at 930. After waiting 15 minutes and calling Viator she arrived at 945a with no apology. After reading wonderful reviews about our tour guide, we were very disappointed with her lack of knowledge. Our questions were often answered with “I don’t know”. Having lived in Vancouver for 3 years, I would think she would have more insight into her city. After our tour ended, we looked up information on the places we visited and learned so much more on our own than we did on the tour. We travel extensively and always begin our visit to a new city with a walking tour. This one was very disappointing.
Dear Ellen, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. Our guide adjusted the meeting time in an effort to accommodate the tour schedule and arrived shortly thereafter. We regret any inconvenience caused by the wait. We also appreciate your comments regarding the guiding experience. We strive to provide engaging and informative tours, and we will share your feedback with our team as part of our ongoing efforts to improve. Have a nice day! Manuel
We unfortunately never got to enjoy the tour because the tour guide didn't show up or could be contacted after Viator to call and email them twice. We requested a refund but have received any reply from the local tour operator.
I’m very disappointed! I was waiting at the location as instructed, I arrived 15 minutes early. Nobody showed up. I messaged the site and was told they tried to contact me. I have no messages. They offered a 3 pm tour but I already have a food tour booked. I asked about a refund, no response so far.
Many highlights, which included our guide Sydney. What a lovely young lady. Pleasant and informative. Other highlights; Granville Mkt, Engine 374, Aquabus, Steam Clock and Chandelier. Highly recommend.
Shima was a gem. She was professional with an infectious sense of humor. Would ask for her again.
We did this walking tour on our first day and it really helped get our bearings as it covered a lot of the main areas. Our guide, Shima, was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of tips on places to visit during our stay . We had time to also visit the public library, which has a great viewing point on the 9th floor, definitely worth a visit.
Our guide, Shima, showed us Vancouver in a very unique way. As an architect, she drew on her architectural knowledge and explained the architecture of both the Old Town and the modern part of the city. It was a fascinating perspective on the city, but the tour wasn't limited to just that, we also learned about the city's history from its founding to the present day.
