This food tour of Granville Market was great! We got to sample so many different kinds of food from a variety of local vendors. Mu was a great guide, curating a delectable progression of flavors and telling us their stories and the story of Granville Island itself. His enthusiasm was infectious. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Granville Market. We would have been overwhelmed on our own, but feel we got treated to the best possible experience. Also, we later returned to a couple of our favorite vendors to buy more and got 10% off with our foodie tour name tags.
Great fun, wonderful food, excellent guide (Michael), highly recommend!
VIP Granville Island Market Walking Food Tour We had a party of Eight family members and this food tour was excellent. We had a great Sandra as our food tour and she was excellent. We sampled many different items throughout the market. What made it great was Sandra always moved us to a place where we all could hear her when she spoke about the food and history of the market. Samples of meat, seafood, pickles, bread, cheese and much more. Our group enjoyed the mixture of food and beverages and definitely did not need lunch after. Will need to return to go to some additional places in the market for lunch. (Chicken Pot Pie, sandwich places and soups). Sandra our tour was wonderful!!!! Thank-you!!

Our whale watching trip was cancelled and we were left looking for other options. With very little hope for success, we reached out to Vancouver Foodie Tours on very short notice. They got right back to us and were able to set up a private tour with only a couple of hours notice. That alone would have been enough for a great review. But our guide, Mu, put the experience over the top. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient even with our group of very different palates. He took his time and explained everything perfectly, and left us with a great working knowledge of the market. We highly recommend Vancouver Foodie Tours and especially Mu.

This tour was wonderfully planned. Maggie essentially created a perfect charcuterie board of delicious local eats. Every bite along the way had a special story and a small business owner behind it. Maggie was knowledgeable about the market and friendly with all of the vendors. Because of the beautiful day, we were able to enjoy most of the samples outside which gave us the idea to take the ferry back to our hotel instead of struggling with finding a Lyft!
