This is the best way to tour Mazatlan to get away from the summer heat. Our driver Ismael ("Smiley") knew everything about the city, cultural areas, history, and food. He made our day truly memorable. Highlight being the newly renovated performing arts theater. Highly recommend.

We recently booked a private accessible van tour for a family of five. Let me start by saying I have ALS and confined to a power wheelchair. I use a Permobil F3 chair which is large and I am 6’ and 250lbs. Along with me and my wife we had my daughter, her 6’4” husband and our 2 year old granddaughter. We were all very comfortable in the van. The van ramp was a longer fold out that my chair handled with ease. Once in the van it was easy for me to maneuver into position for the tour. This unfortunately is not something I can say about many of the accessible tours we have tried. Our tour guide, Carlos gave us an exceptional tour of the sights and sounds of Mazatlán. Carlos’s stories of growing up in a city that he loves along with all the facts made this tour both awesome and memorable. Given my disability and accessibility needs I do not take reviewing accessible tours lightly. I definitely recommend this tour with Carlos for those of us that are living with disability visiting Mazatlan. :0)

Wonderful. Humberto gave us suggestions of places and times, but allowed us to pick what we wanted to see, where we wanted to stop and how long we would stay. He picked a lovely lunch spot on the beach with excellent shrimp and mango daiquiris. He was a quick sense of humor and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

This was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken anyplace. Our driver was amazing. He was so personable, informative, and knowledgeable. There were 12 of us including 4 children. He kept everyone happy! We’ve been on tours in Mazatlan before but this one was by far the best. Just a word of advice. We thought we’d been stood up because we couldn’t find him. Read directions as to where to meet. When we stopped and reread our email we realized that we were supposed to meet in the port building, not outside. I truly can’t say enough positive comments about the wonderful time we had. 5++++++

First, the have a desk inside the cruise building so don’t wander too far. 11 fit easily and off we were. Edwardo was excellent, very knowledgeable about local rules, history and even gossip. He tool the long way and made a long drive very interesting, thank you Edwardo

We had a great experience and would recommend this to others. Our driver was Rahul and he is knowledgeable, friendly, good driving skills and gave great instructions. His van is clean. He even brought complimentary drinks which we very much appreciate. We requested to eat at a local seafood restaurant and was very happy with it. The six hours trip at Mazatlan allowed us to see many places in a comfortable van and in our own pace. Two thumbs up 👍👍. Thank you Rahul for a great time trip.

Jose was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The vehicle was clean . We had booked a 6 hour trip through Viator. Apparently there was a three hour trip but we weren’t able to access that. 6 hours was definitely too long! As we were travelling on a cruise ship , we didn’t need to have lunch out. Also we don’t like spending our day shopping in establishments that all sell the same thing over and over again. Having free margaritas but then being pressurised in a jewellery store isn’t our thing either. So unless you want to go off the ship and spend a couple of hours around a flea market and in a restaurant, don’t book the extended version of this excursion. There really wasn’t that much to see! To fill up time , we dawdled round the shell museum which was fascinating. We then travelled to the countryside to see an authentic Mexican village. If you want a private tour and you have a specific itinerary this is company to go with. Do be aware that you will be reminded repeatedly that this tour is better than a ship’s tour. Once is fine but not continuously. I know that many Mexicans have awful life stories. But when you are on your vacation , it’s very difficult when someone keeps reiterating how little money they have. No doubt about it , the ship tours are very limited and expensive but at least you don’t have to endure the emotional pressure and you know what your itinerary is and your agenda. Jose is very hard working but the company really needs to clarify ,on Viator ,exactly what you are doing when and what the alternative options are

This was the best private tour of Mazatlan it is an absolutely beautiful city. Oscar was our tour guide he was so knowledgeable and he gave us a wonderful tour to experience the beauty of the city! I highly recommend it. I will give you one tip, there is a check-in desk at the port. Book now!
