Great day trip to Valparaiso. The guide was excellent and so was the driver. My 12 year old son and I had a fantastic day! The guide did a great job of showing us the highlights and keeping us interested and also made a very good recommendation for lunch. The driver was very good and the van was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful private day tour of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar with our guide, Berson and our driver, Andrea. Berson knows a lot about a wide range of topics including the history of Chile, local flora and fauna, foreign languages and politics. On our tour, we spent some time walking through Valparaiso which gave us a lot of opportunities to take photos because the city is so photogenic. We also took a ride on one of the historic funiculars. Afterwards, we were taken to the beautiful city of Viña del Mar and enjoyed the contrast with Valparaiso. Our driver, Andrea, was very thoughtful and considerate as well as a careful and conscientious driver. We highly recommend this tour.
The city is beautiful, and magical. So many gorgeous tiny stores and creative endeavours around, small cafes and nice people. So worth the trip. Our guide Alejandra was absolutely great, friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar was our family's favorite part of our 1 week trip to Chile. José, our guide, was amazing and he personalized the tour to match our group's interests. We loved hearing about the history of the area and José is personable and fun to talk with. He knew all of the best spots for photos and he took great pictures of our family. Cristóbal was our driver and we were amazed at how he expertly navigated the difficult streets of Valparaiso. The van was luxurious and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour and tour company! The next time we come back to Santiago we will book another tour with them.
This is truly wonderful to read — thank you for sharing such a thoughtful message about your experience. I’m especially happy to hear that your Full Day City Tour of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar became a highlight of your week in Chile. That combination of coastal scenery, history, and hillside neighborhoods often turns into a very memorable day, particularly when the itinerary can adapt to each group’s interests. José will be very glad to know how much you enjoyed exploring Valparaíso with him. He really enjoys shaping the day around each family and making sure there are plenty of opportunities to capture special moments along the way. And I’ll be sure to share your kind words with Cristóbal as well — navigating those streets smoothly is no small task and makes a big difference in the overall experience. It means a lot to receive your recommendation, and we would be delighted to welcome you again on another private tour from Santiago whenever your travels bring you back.
Did a private tour. Guide Andres and the driver were terrific. Very nice vehicle (not always the case!) for a longish (90 min) drive to and from Santiago. Highly recommend.
Thank you for sharing this — I’m very glad you enjoyed the experience. That drive from Santiago to the coast is an important part of the day, so having a comfortable vehicle and a coordinated guide and driver team makes a real difference, especially on a Full Day City Tour of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. I’m happy to hear everything worked smoothly throughout. Andrés will be very pleased to know you enjoyed the day with him. These private tours are designed to feel relaxed and personal, even with the distance involved. We truly appreciate the recommendation and are glad you chose to explore the Highlights of Valparaíso with us.
So glad we took the time to visit Valparaiso. It is a special city to visit with its many murals.. Our tour guide and driver were exceptional.
I’m really glad you made the decision to visit Valparaíso — it truly is one of the most distinctive places to experience when traveling from Santiago. The mix of hillside streets, ocean views, and ever-changing murals gives the city a creative energy that’s hard to describe until you see it in person. I’m also very pleased to hear that both your guide and driver helped make the day feel exceptional — that coordination is key on a Valparaíso day trip. Thank you again for exploring the coast with us. It’s a special part of Chile, and I’m happy it left an impression.
Nice drive thru win valley, then meandering through the streets of Valparaiso and Vin de Mar, with a stop at the Founck? Museum.
I’m glad you enjoyed that contrast — it’s one of my favorite parts of that day trip. Starting with the calm of the wine valley and then shifting into the colorful hills of Valparaíso always makes for a memorable change of scenery. And finishing along the coast in Viña del Mar adds a totally different rhythm to the day. I’m also happy you made the stop at the Museo Fonck — it’s a small but unique place that many travelers wouldn’t find on their own. Thanks again for joining the tour. I hope those coastal views stayed with you long after the trip!
Our family of 5, ranging from our 59 to 98, had a 2nd beautiful experience on this tour with Franco, our guide, and Nico, our driver. ((They were our guides through Santiago the day before and we were thrilled to have a 2nd day with them.) They worked together seamlessly, taking us so many places, explaining the history and culture of the region. We asked for a scenic lunch opportunity and they truly delivered. We all enjoyed lunch together as well as every moment of our multi-hour tour. They were such gracious and helpful gentlemen, and we felt very safe and blessed to have them show us around. Highly recommend 💗
This was an amazing tour, Julio and Andres were great tour guide and driver. The tour was exactly what we wanted Valparaiso spots were perfect and Andres was flexible letting us shop when we wanted, and when we wanted to see sea lions he made sure to get us right to them. If your looking for a private tour this is well worth it.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re truly happy to hear that your private day in Valparaíso felt just right and that Andrés and Julio helped make it smooth, flexible, and fun. We love tailoring each tour to what guests enjoy most — whether that means extra time for browsing local shops or making sure you get a great chance to see wildlife along the coast. Thank you for your trust and recommendation. We’d be delighted to welcome you again on your next visit to Chile!
Vanessa was a great guide. We loved Valparaiso. Sensory overload. So much to see. From a scheduling point of view, we could have done without the visit to Viña Del Mar and lunched in Valparaiso, then returned to Santiago. Still, it was most worth it.
Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day with Vanessa and that Valparaíso made such an impression — it truly is a city full of color, energy, and surprises. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding the timing and lunch plans. Your input is very valuable, and we’ll keep it in mind as we continue refining our itineraries to better match our guests’ preferences. Despite the busy day, we’re very happy to know the experience was worthwhile for you. Thank you for choosing to explore with us — and we hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Chile!
