Junte-se a uma excursão noturna e siga transmissões de rádio criptográficas e as pegadas persistentes de dois caminhantes de longa data para encontrar o trailhead paisagístico onde a verdadeira jornada começa. Este caminho leva a um lugar cheio de beleza, e prova de que as lendas de Whistler são verdadeiras. Moment Factory, Líder global em vídeo, iluminação, som e efeitos especiais, vai dar vida às florestas de Whistler neste verão com um novo show. Este caminho de 1,5 km (verão) / 1 km (inverno) através de uma velha floresta de crescimento levará visitantes de todas as idades em uma caminhada noturna multimídia de uma hora em busca de maravilhas escondidas. Toda a experiência acontece fora dentro de uma rede de trilhas que é parcialmente nivelada, mas não asfaltada. Inicialmente, o curso sobe pela colina através de um gradiente moderado e alguns conjuntos de escadas antes de voltar para baixo - a metade traseira do curso é mais plana. Incluindo para cima e para baixo, há aproximadamente 275 escadas.

Todas as noites, depois que o sol se põe, a magia de Vallea Lumina começa. Esta atividade é familiar e todas as idades são bem-vindas para se maravilhar com as maravilhas escondidas da floresta. Os hóspedes chegarão ao nosso pitoresco acampamento base Cougar Mountain, onde poderão desfrutar de estacionamento gratuito, ofertas do nosso Café como chocolate quente, biscoitos e kits de s'mores que podem ser apreciados em nossas fogueiras e banheiros. Na hora do passeio, os hóspedes serão verificados por nossos Rangers e iniciarão a trilha de 1 km por uma floresta encantada. As trilhas não pavimentadas serpenteiam pela floresta e sobre os rios, com luzes mágicas e sons misteriosos guiando o caminho. Vallea Lumina leva a um lugar cheio de beleza e prova de que as lendas de Whistler são verdadeiras.

This was a magical experience for the kids at night. The lights and music were super cool and it wasn't creepy at all walking in the forest at night. The kids really enjoyed it.

It was so cool!! The forest was magical. There are a lot of stairs throughout the experience but doable. We loved the "base camp" and staff too. We highly recommend and would bring friends to do it again!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The website is highly misleading. While framed as an immersive forest walk, it actually tells a story of abduction of a grandfather and his granddaughter. We brought our children anticipating an impressive light show as one sees from the website as well as marketing videos, but the creepy sounds, haunting storyline, and frankly short experience (< 30 minutes) made for something that meaningfully varied from expectations. It left our kids (4 year old and 6 year old) terrified. Worse yet, I reached out The Adventure Group to express concern and frustration and they didn’t even write back. This wasn’t that surprising after we watched major mishaps with some of the groups trying to attend the show the night we were going. They don’t seem to have their stuff together, and the marketing of this experience felt intentionally misleading to extract money from patrons.

This experience is incredible. Awesome beautiful lights everywhere you look and holograms make this one of the most incredible light shows I’ve ever seen. You don’t want to leave……. I wanna live here.. 🥰 The running river with the salmon was amazing. I felt about this like the first time I saw Cirque du Soleil.….. pioneering.

As a Senior couple we found several issues. The shuttle location was hard to find (no directions to the location). The trail description is inaccurate for summer as there are multiple stairs with poor railings (slippery wood or loose rope rails). The inclines were quite steep and sometimes in places slippery. Fall hazards are numerous (we used a flashlight for our safety). The theme is magical and visual effects are meaningful, but this tour is best left to the more physically able (245 stairsteps!

My husband and I booked this while we visited Whistler last week. I had read reviews and even though there were remarks about the terrain and the steps, we were quite surprised to find the paths with loose big rocks, poorly lite and A LOT of stairs. The walk actually took away from the enjoyment of the lights and story because we were afraid of twisting an ankle. The guide at the beginning gave a half hearted story telling. Told we would see guides along the way and saw 1 at the beginning..
