Wonderful place and the guide Bruna is great. We closed with a flourish with a cocktail inside the van. It was impossible to stay out because of the wind. Unfortunately we didn't see the sunset because it was cloudy, but it was beautiful anyway

An incredible experience and we were very well assisted by Pukarumi. The Atacama is beautiful and taking the tour with the guide Isi made everything even more special. The Valle da Luna tour was excellent, the guide Soraya suggested we do a different, longer trail with different landscapes from the traditional tour. Soraya gave us very interesting information about the history of the place and the country and took incredible photos! The cocktail at the end of the tour was also delicious. Also highlight that the driver Patrício was very helpful and friendly too! We did the tour with friends and highly recommend it!

They changed the pickup time of the tour on the same day in the morning, however I've only seen that it's not 2pm but 3pm now when we got back to our accommodation 10 mins before 2pm as I didn't have internet on my phone and I was on another tour in the morning... Same company changed the pickup time to one hour earlier for the next morning so it seems to be normal with Pukarumi. They gave a 40mins pickup range but only shared the order of pickup when they started picking people up. Surely this can be shared beforehand so people have a clue if they're towards the beginning or the end of the 40mins range. The guide was okay, but not fantastic, I would have liked more information to be shared about the location. The sunset is not in the Moon Valley though, it's an outside location (not just for this company). They had snacks and drinks which was nice, but the guide had no idea about my request for gluten free. I eat what I naturally could.
Honestly it’s a nice picnic with a ok sunset but it’s so incredibly slow. Note: this excludes the fact that the park’s website on mobile is just an awful design to surpass. 1. It takes nearly an hour to pick everyone up even touch the park isn’t that far away 2. Because it was busy we skipped the 40min hike…so a 4 hour trip was only two 5 min stops, a 15 min hike and a picnic The tour could be run a lot more efficiently by having people meet instead of wait for pickup. Also, smaller groups and tour guides should be focused on a single language or at least speak during the bus rides. Instead most of our time outside the bus was waiting on folks using the bathroom or the guide translating a lot of info. Now I will add a star for the fact that the picnic quality was solid even if the sunset was underwhelming. It’s ok to take this tour if you’re day 1 adjust to the elevation but beyond a glorified picnic, it leaves a lot to be desired.
