Itinerário
Do escritório da Andes Salt Expeditions, o passeio começa às 10h30. Em um Toyota Land Cruiser 4 × 4 WD. Visitaremos o Cemitério de Trens, um bom lugar para tirar fotos artísticas. Depois, iremos para a base de operações da empresa para usar o banheiro higiênico que tem 3 banheiros e chuveiros para senhoras e senhores e ao mesmo tempo experimentamos nossas botas para a água salgada para visitar o efeito espelho e também pegar o almoço para o grupo.
Chegada a COLCHANI, localizada na borda do Salar de Uyuni e sede da Cooperativa de Rosário, principais plantas de iodização, totalizando 15 fábricas de sal rústicas. Aqui são utilizados fornos para secar o sal, pode-se observar a trituração do sal, a mistura do iodo com o sal, o empacotamento do sal em sacos para consumo nacional e medicinal.
Chegada ao grande Salar de Uyuni com uma área de 12 quilômetros quadrados, neste lugar visitaremos os olhos de sal (grandes buracos no salar de onde a água salgada sai por alta pressão), visitaremos as bandeiras do mundo, vista do monumento de Dakar, os olhos de sal, sessão de fotos em perspectiva e vídeos engraçados com nosso guia motorista profissional especialista. Almoço no mesmo lugar, caminhada de 15 minutos no salar antes de chegar à Ilha Incawasi, localizada no centro do salar a 120 km de Uyuni. Este é o principal destino da maioria dos passeios no deserto de sal. É um lugar extraordinário e sobrenatural, coberto de cactos gigantes, médios e pequenos, um mar branco plano de ladrilhos de sal hexagonais, povoado por vizcachas encalhadas (roedores andinos). A Ilha Fish é um oásis com um ecossistema único e isolado que é povoado por cactos de até 7 a 10 metros de altura. Os fotógrafos descobrirão que a Ilha Cactus é um dos melhores locais do mundo para satisfazer sua paixão,
Depois faremos um passeio pelo salar de mais de 100km, para visitar a água salgada para observar o efeito espelho, no mesmo local teremos o pôr do sol e um lanche com vinho tinto e biscoitos, pringles e terminaremos o passeio às 19h30.

We had a great time on this tour! Our driver and guide Eduardo was excellent. He suggested an alternative route where we could see the mirror effect even during the dry season, which was a great surprise and gave us plenty of opportunities for really nice photos. Everything was well organized and all costs were clear. Lunch and a lovely sunset picnic were included. The views were amazing and Uyuni is truly a special place. Highly recommended!
An absolutely amazing experience - after 3 weeks in South America my highlight! Santos was a wonderful and dedicated guide.
We never made it to Uyuni! We sat in the airport in La Paz for four hours while the flight to Uyuni was repeatedly delayed for rain, making a landing dangerous. I communicated with the tour operator regarding the delays and then when the flight was cancelled and that probably would be cancelled the following day due to a storm on the way. The tour operator simply said he was sorry and offered no path for a refund. I reached out to Viator for a refund, but the system didn’t allow me to explain the situation other than we did not show up for the tour. We learned from the State Department the next day that a snowstorm had shut down Uyuni and left 200 people stranded. This was so unfortunate because the main reason we came to Bolivia was to visit the Salt Flats of Uyuni.
Fabulous day - our guide Victor spoke great English as well as Spanish, and made the day very enjoyable. He took great perspective photographs and videos of us and took us to all the best places. Lunch was good, and sunset drinks with a bottle of wine to share was good despite being chilly’ We recommend!
If you only have 1 day in Uyuni I highly recommend this tour. It was fantastic🩵🤙🏽 Our tour guide Jose was excellent, knowledgeable, kind & gave us an extra treat seeing the stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was perfect and the guide was excellent
There is also a pick-up service, but there is a tour company in the city center, so I walked to the meeting point. In addition to the Uyuni salt lake, they take you to salt factories and direct sales depots, as well as Cactus Island. The service was good because they took trick photos and videos using our smartphones. I think it is a satisfying tour for those who are going for the first time, although it is somewhat rushed.

From start to finish an excellent full and fun packed tour lead by our Guide, Juan. First its the Ghost Train Graveyard, great for history buffs and train fans then to a salt production town to understand the many uses of salt followed with a lunch. Then the best part; the Flats which are stunning with some fun pictures to take. After its a hike on Cactus Island, not strenuous but watch your foothold on the ascent before a return to the flats and onward to the sunset. Juan was a great Guide going out of his way to take many pictures. A tour not to be missed in Uyuni if its a day trip you want.
