Underground River Group Tour com almoço e regresso a Puerto Princesa

Had the tour booked and then the storm blew in. They had already canceled the previous days trip, and found out my trip was canceled as well, we did get to make the next days trip. We had a great group and the guide lets just say she helped make the trip a good one. With having had two groups canceled, those groups were all there as well. Lets say there was a bunch of people waiting to get on their boats. We had a three hour wait during that time we took our lunch which was a good decision as we were the first in line, then the other groups got the same idea. Because of the storms the surf was a little more active so getting on and off the boats meant a good chance of getting wet. Most of us did pretty good staying dry. Well except me the old guy with bad knees LoL. I did well until getting on the last boat back to Sebang. I was the the last one on and of course the boat was already moving into deeper water trying to get my foot on the ladder I got hit by waist high wave and I was soaked. That to me was very refreshing because it was hot, humid and had been made worse wearing a life jacket and a hard hat I was already soaked with sweat. But that was part of the fun, The guide was sticking with me while walking around because she didn't want me fall. She told everyone I was her daddy and we all got a good laugh about it, It was a great tour, very informative even though I have toured many caverns in the States, this one was unique because you did it on a river.

Title is as it says. Do not book with Lagum Adventures or any of the names they operate under. This is by far THE WORST tour experience I’ve had and I’ve been to many across Asia. For starters, there was no confirmation on what time they would pick us up at our specific hostel location and I had to proactively WhatsApp them to confirm. The day of we started waiting for them at 7:18 - they said they would pick us up around 7:30 but it could be anywhere from 7:30-8:00. At 8:00 there had been 0 contact or updates so I WhatsApped the team. There was no response. At 8:13 I gave them a WhatsApp call and tried to call the other numbers listed. All the provided numbers were failed calls - I suspect these were fake numbers or there was no one manning them. At 8:40 I messaged again and whatsapped the other contact that had also been provided. No one responded. I emailed the contact email provided as well and no one responded. At this point we were sure we had just been scammed but we also had no way of knowing if we should continue waiting or not. At 9:00 we managed to get through to someone and they said they would check the status of our driver. They never called back. They ended up arriving at 9:20 - no apologies, no explanation for why they were so late. When we ended up reaching the actual tour area we were told we would have to linger in the lunch area for an hour and a half to wait for the other people as they had not been expecting us. Our names were ‘just added on this morning’ even though I had booked weeks in advance. The actual tour experience was poorly prepared. It was raining cats and dogs and while other tour operators had large umbrellas prepared to shuffle people between the restaurant and the van we had to walk soaked in the rain. We booked the more expensive service with a transfer to El Nido included and ended up in a van with a reckless driver with no working seatbelts on top. We were made to wait on a random side of the road while they brought in a transfer van and the whole time no one properly communicated what was going on. In total we spent 8 hours loitering around for a tour that lasted approximately 45mins. Please save yourself some time and do not book with them.

Everything was well organised and the tour guide made the right decision for us to leave very early to beat the crowds. The tour was excellent and the lunch buffet provided was delicious. Great value for money too.

Lagum Adventures was well-organised and they messaged us a day or two before the Underground River tour to remind and also let us know what to wear and bring. On the way to the Underground River, we had a short stop where there was a great view of the West PH Sea. The Underground River tour itself was amazing. We were given audio guides as they observe silence entering the cave for conservation purposes. This made the whole experience quite meditative. After the tour, we had a buffet lunch that included all sorts of Filipino dishes. My group was headed to El Nido after and had booked a van. From the joiner's van for the Underground River tour, we transferred to another van headed for El Nido. We had lots of room despite picking up other passengers along the way and even got to El Nido earlier than expected. Very convenient for us given our tight schedule to be able to do the Underground River Tour and then have a van transfer to El Nido right after.

Super unprofessional! First, we were told that they couldn't drop us 20 km away from the route (which is fine) to El Nido, but on the day of the tour, we went 30 km away from the route to pick up guests. And we have been requested to wake up half an hour earlier because of this. But the real problem was that they didn't get us on a bus to El Nido at all. They dropped us in the middle of nowhere and left us to arrange our transportation. After many messages, a lady told us that they could drive us if we waited for 2-3 hours for her husband. We had a boat to catch and we paid another company which luckily had 1.5 free seats for both of us). They told us they would give us part of the money back but they didn't.

The underground river is stunning! The tour was well organised in all the transfers. After the tour we requested to be taken to El Nido so there is also the possibility to be dropped off there. Very convenient.

The UR tour and tour guide were fantastic. Because we chose the El Nido to PPS option, the trip began with a shared van transfer from El Nido to a transfer point where we joined the group coming from Puerto Princesa. That first portion of the trip was very uncomfortable, with 16 people packed into a 15 passenger van, as the driver randomly picked up folks on the highway looking for a ride. This also made us late to the transfer area to join the other group for the last leg to the underground river. The only other complaint was that when booking, the online portal allowed you to select dietary requirements, giving the impression that they could be accommodated; however, the buffet lunch restaurant and tour guide had no knowledge of what was selected at booking, nor any seeming ability to accommodate it. Aside from those two things, we really enjoyed the tour.

We took the tour to the underground rivers of Puerto Princesa, starting from El Nido (and also returning to Nido). The tour was truly a disaster by any standard, and I wouldn't recommend Lagum Adventures even to a person I dislike. They picked us up at the hotel at 4:30am, the driver stopped a few minutes after leaving at a place, started vomiting outside the truck and another person got in to replace him as driver for the rest of the trip. After several hours of travel, we received a message by WhatsApp from the person who was going to be the tour guide asking us if we were at Salvation Point (we didn't even know what that place was), when we passed the location they told us that we had missed it. We spoke to the driver, who was not even aware of where we were going and he missed the address, contacted the guide by phone and left us in the middle of the route waiting, saying that someone was going to pass us by. search in 10 minutes. At this point we continued talking with the guide and another person from the company who did not give us information about what was happening with our tour and if we were going to be able to do it. After 40 minutes, a van picked us up and took us to the port where the underground river tour departs, where the "guide" was waiting for us. The "guide" (Ara) did absolutely nothing during the entire tour, she didn't even come on the boat with us, she just wanted to take photos of us with her phone, which we later realized was because they sold them to us at the end of the tour. Even in the underground river it did not come, and the explanation of what we saw was a recorded audio guide. In short, she did not fulfill any function. After finishing the ride, they asked us where we were going (I didn't even know we were going back to El Nido). They made us get into a van that left us at Salvation Point, telling us that another vehicle would pick us up there. We waited an hour. The next vehicle told us that it would take us to El Nido, after many hours of travel we arrived at the outskirts of the city and it told us that it could not enter the town and we had to get off and take a tricycle (paying for it on our own) . We finally arrived in the city after 9 at night. The worst experience of the entire trip to the Philippines.

Booking the tour was a breeze, thanks to Lagum Adventure's efficient and friendly customer service. They promptly responded to inquiries and ensured a seamless reservation process. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our knowledgeable guide who provided us with a comprehensive overview of what to expect during the tour. Entering the underground river was like stepping into another world. As we glided through the caverns on a paddle boat, we were mesmerized by the sheer beauty and magnificence of the limestone formations. As we emerged from the cave, we were filled with a sense of awe and wonder at the marvels we had witnessed underground. The Lagum Adventure Philippines Private Underground River Tour exceeded all expectations, delivering an unforgettable experience that will remain etched in our memories for years to come.

These guys are scammers. I ordered private van for 7.500 php + tour for 6.000 php. At the site they said that i can start at 8am, i get private van with additional space for the legs. In fact: 1) They didn't have any information at the site that when you order private van for 7.500 php, you need to pay the full price for the tour also 6.000 php. But in the tour price the transfer also included, so just logically when you order private van for separate price, the tour must be cheaper, because you don't use the transfer. 2) after i pay for the tour, i was told that i can't go at 8am, the maximum time is 6am, also they can't pick up me from the hotel, only from the center of the city, and there i must come by myself with my baggages, is this called a private van??? 3) i came with the baggages to the centre of the city, but the driver was late for 45 MINUTES!!! And while i was waiting the driver didn't answer the phone, and no any excuses for the being late. 4) Instead of van, i got sedan class. When i asked, wtf? They said that you was going only 2 people that's why car is small, but i pay 7500 php for the private van and they gave me the cheaper car!!! 5) And the last one, when i said to the manager that the service was not reasonable for the price i pay, and they should do a partial refund. He said that he need to talk to the boss first, and still not any answer. So these guys are totally scammers, don't use their services if you don't want to be nervous and pay more then the service cost.
