This tour was such a fun and easy way to see Curaçao, especially as a solo traveler. Our guide, Nelly, was amazing, super funny, knowledgeable, and full of personality. She really made the experience enjoyable and even helped take photos and videos for me in front of the famous Curaçao sign, which I appreciated so much. The tour gives you a nice overview of the island, hitting key spots like the downtown area where you get time to walk around and explore on your own, then to the Curaçao liqueur distillery where you can sample small shots, and Mambo Beach. Mambo beach was pretty overcrowded when we went and you’ll have to pay extra to rent a chair. One thing to note is that a lot of the sightseeing is more of a drive-by experience with information shared along the way, rather than extended stops. I do wish there was a bit more focus on history or even a museum stop to dive deeper into the culture. Overall, I still really enjoyed the tour. It’s a great introduction to the island, especially if you’re short on time or traveling alone and want a guided way to explore.
Tour delayed 30 minutes due to issues concerning a vehicle and need to find a substitute tour guide.
This experience was 10/10. It was a good mixture of history and tourist activities. Our tourist guide, Nelly, was so amazing, full of smiles, and information. I also liked that transportation from the resort was included. Would definitely book this again especially as a first time visitor.
The Taste Of Curacao Tour is just that… A Taste. It was a perfect tour packed with a little of everything (History, Distillery, Sight Seeing, Souvenir Shopping and Mambo Beach). The cost even included pick up from Sandals Resort. Nellie was our Tour Guide and she was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to spend a few hours experiencing Curacao. #Newlyweds in Curacao
There was a schedule issue and our tour time had to be changed. We were promptly contacted and given opportunity to select a convenient time for us , which worked out perfectly. Very collaborative to sort out that issue. The pickup at our hotel was absolutely seemless, great communication. Picked us up on a small comfortable bus. We were the only people for our tour!! Nelly was our guide. She was personable and professional. Born and raised on Curacao. She explained everything clearly and in an interactive way. History, fun stories, good food info, local neighborhood info. Driver's name slipped my mind now but also grand, safe driving. Our tour was adjusted to our interest because it was only us. We were provided ice cold water. Nelly took photos of our group which was nice. She offered ideas and suggestions for other things we could do on her island, which she obviously loves dearly. Interacted with myself and my teenage daughters. Felt like we'd known her forever! Plenty of time at all stops. Beach was fun. A lot different than the out of main area beach. Ok for the experience of that busy and fancy curated experience, but honestly the beaches away from this area are better to really enjoy and more peaceful. Take this tour! It's great half day experience and good way to see the mambo beach and the distillery, two must do items if you've come all this way!
It was all great!! Nelly and driver were awesome . Nelly knew her history and the stops were amazing
The tour had a little bit for everyone! My husband and I enjoyed the distillery and all of us enjoyed the town and Mambo Beach. Jurell was a wonderful guide and even gave us more recommendations for the rest of our stay!
It was informative and a lot to see and do. I learned a lot about Curaçao's history. Our tour guide was Leo, and Jake was the driver. Both courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.
This was a very nice excursion. We got to see alot of places in Curacao. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our guide , Nellie was outgoing and informative. Covered everything in tour description and gave us adequate time to enjoy each stop. She was great!
