Este passeio foi organizado para proporcionar aos viajantes uma experiência local que os conecta à cultura e ao povo de Gana. Ele também educa os viajantes sobre a vida de pessoas importantes como Dr. Kwame Nkrumah e WEB Dubois e também dá aos viajantes uma sensação de algumas das cidades mais antigas de Accra. Os viajantes também têm a chance de experimentar alguns pratos locais de Gana, interagir com alguns locais, observar suas vidas e experimentar alguns hábitos locais, como comer algumas comidas de rua.

Dr. William Edward Burgardt é considerado o pai do Pan-africanismo. Ele foi convidado pelo primeiro presidente de Gana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, para ir a Gana para editar uma enciclopédia de história africana e recebeu uma casa para morar com sua esposa até falecer. Sua casa é hoje um museu conhecido como W.E.B Du Bois Centre. O centro exibe pertences pessoais do Dr. Du Bois, prêmios honorários e inúmeras publicações em sua biblioteca. Seu túmulo e o corpo cremado da esposa também podem ser encontrados no centro.
Em 1961, durante a visita da Rainha Elisabeth II e do Príncipe Charles a Gana, a praça da estrela negra, também conhecida como praça da independência, foi encomendada pelo primeiro presidente de Gana, Dr. Na praça, os visitantes conheceriam o arco da independência, o portão da estrela negra e o monumento da Libertação. O local é um grande espaço aberto delimitado por estandes que podem acomodar cerca de 30 mil pessoas. Foi construído para comemorar a independência de Gana como símbolo de autossuficiência e um lugar de unidade nacional. O espaço é utilizado para acolher outros eventos nacionais, religiosos e comerciais, como comícios políticos e concertos de entretenimento.
O Mercado de Artes e Artesanato é uma comunidade de barracas onde artesanato e lembranças inspiradas na cultura ganesa, como tecidos kente, miçangas, esculturas e muitos outros acessórios, são expostos para compra. Os hóspedes têm a oportunidade de ir de barraca em barraca para apreciar e comprar algumas lembranças de sua visita a Gana. Os vendedores também estão sempre ao serviço dos hóspedes e estão dispostos a persuadir na sua oferta para convencer os hóspedes a considerarem os seus produtos, uma vez que também existem artigos semelhantes disponíveis no mesmo local por vários vendedores.
Os convidados visitariam o Museu/Parque Memorial Kwame Nkrumah. É o local de descanso final do primeiro presidente de Gana, que libertou Gold Coast do domínio colonial. O museu abriga os pertences pessoais e publicações de Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah em vários estágios de sua vida, desde a infância até sua vida política até sua derrubada e morte. Existem algumas fotos e vídeos que mostram sua história de vida com algumas personalidades famosas em todo o mundo. A premissa era onde Kwame Nkrumah se posicionava para declarar Gana independente.

This was a good tour experience overall. My guide was Suwaibah. She coordinated my airport pickup, and accompanied me throughout the tour. Each stop was a good experience. The driver did a good job too. Only minor criticism is that Suwaibah was very soft spoken, which made it difficult to hear her at times. They dropped me off at my hotel afterwards, as promised.

The Accra City Tour with ProTour Africa was a perfect way for my partner and I to enjoy Accra city. Our favorite part of the city tour was the Art Market. I booked this tour after my visit to the Coast. The locals were very hospitable. I enjoyed Ghana Jollof better. Ghana is a beautiful country, has good food and nice People. I love how the artifacts were displayed at the Ghana national museum.

I did two tours with Pro Tour Africa and the Accra tour was included. This tour was focused on the political history of Ghana which is an interest of mine. My favourite site was the Kwame Nkrumah Museum. I had a great time in Ghana and this tour was a great way to conclude my stay in Ghana. I look forward to my next trip to Ghana.

This was a great tour with my Ghanaian family. We had a great tour and I was able to build up on the knowledge about the history of Ghana while visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Museum and the Independence Square. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Ghana and its people.

This was a great tour in Accra. We visited Dubois center, Black star square, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum and the arts center. I got to buy a lot to Ghanian prints, beaded and slippers for my family and friends back home. Rashida really did well bargaining to get me the best prices for the things I got. We got some Banku and Tilapia at Chop shop in Osu when we were done. Overall it was a great day and Pro Tour Africa made it worth my time. Thank you for the great tour guys. :)
