Perfect pickup in hotel front lobby by our guide of the day, Kevin. And waited only a few minutes for the wonderful car to pick us up. With his Chinese English, Kevin, started his information flow about the areas we were driving through from our central placed hotel. Absolute greatest move, Kevin did that day was to take a reverse tour. Started in the morning at the Sacred way with almost no people around, followed by the Ming Tombs and still almost no people. After this we went to Badaling and most people had left and the wall experience was therefor also very exclusive and not crowed. Note for people that don’t like traditional cable cars - this is the place, the way up with the rail cable train, was perfect. After a Great Wall experience and Kevins added info the trip back to the hotel started and only interrupted by a 3 min. quick stop beside the road to a distant view to Birds Nest and info about the following drive by photo shoot opportunity of the Birds Nest. After this we were safely back at our hotel. The car and driver was luxury only downside was that on the way back from the wall they seemed to be in a hurry and did some serious hazardous overtakings.

David provided us with excellent historical context both along the way to the Great Wall and on site at Sacred Way. We got way more our visits knowing the history and stories behind each. Can't recommend this enough.

We Went to the great wall and because I have a vascular condition that makes it very difficult to stand And because there were very long lines, Candy stood in line for me and signaled me when it was time to join her to get on the cable Car to go up to the great wall. She was very patient with me while I took notes during our visit. Candy has great information and her English is very understandable. She has answered our questions readily. She also is mindful of the pace and our need to rest. Candy has been a good guide who I would not hesitate to recommend.
