Nesta excursão você vai experimentar a grandeza da civilização maia enquanto estiver nos locais arqueológicos mais importantes em El Salvador, San Andres e Tazumal. Ao mesmo tempo, você terá uma conexão com a natureza entrando no Parque Nacional Cerro Verde. Nos sábados e domingos temos a opção de visitar o Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO Joya de Ceren, kwon como a Pompeia das Américas.

Itinerário
Visitando o Parque Nacional Cerro Verde, faremos uma caminhada de aproximadamente 45 minutos, onde desfrutaremos de um clima agradável, ar fresco e uma vista deslumbrante dos vulcões de Santa Ana, Izalco e do lago Coatepeque.
Tazumal, um dos sítios arqueológicos mais importantes do país, compreende 13 estruturas, uma das quais é uma pirâmide de 24 metros de altura
O Parque Arqueológico de San Andrés é um dos maiores centros pré-hispânicos de El Salvador e constituiria uma capital regional entre 600 e 900 d.C. no final do período clássico, período de apogeu da civilização maia.

Definitely worth seeing if you’re in the area. Safe and comfortable ride to the sites. The lunch stop was great. Driver/guide was full of useful information.

This tour was a wonderful experience. My guide Gerson was absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and shared the history and culture in an engaging way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in history or archaeology.
We did two different tours with this tour company. One was a city tour and Boqueron plus the Mayan sites. These were basically private tours and our guide Gerson was very knowledgeable, accommodating and organized. These would have been much harder to do alone and we would have missed so much information. The day was well planned, moved at a good pace and time to stop and recharge for food. They picked us up directly at our hotel and followed the itinerary. Would strongly recommend and shout out to Gerson for a great time!

Alfredo Diaz left a lasting impression on the fantastic culture of El Salvador, as well as giving us an appreciation for the history of the country and the legacy left behind by the Mayan culture. This trip truly shows you the beauty of the area with scenic routes, picturesque walks, and there is plenty of time to rest and souvenir shop. The food was amazing, the engagement during the tour was fantastic, and if you only spend one day in San Salvador, you should do this tour.
