Participating in the Turin Underground tour was an extremely interesting and exciting experience. Descending below the city's surface reveals a hidden face, rich in charm, history, and unpredictable suggestions. The route is very well structured and offers continuous curiosities about a pleasant Turin that is just waiting to be discovered. A round of applause for excellence goes in particular to the guide Raffaella: exceptionally prepared, brilliant, and capable of engaging the group with great mastery. With her passion, she managed to transform every historical anecdote into a vivid story, keeping everyone's attention very high from beginning to end. A true professional in the sector! ⚠️ A sore point: the incident at the Pietro Micca Museum Unfortunately, such a pleasant evening was ruined by an unpleasant incident that deserves to be reported. Upon arriving in front of the Pietro Micca Museum, a museum volunteer who arrived in his Jeep to open the museum thought it best to park the vehicle in the space reserved for disabled people, despite there being several other completely free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Being very sensitive to the issue (having a relative with a disability), I approached him to kindly ask him to display the regular permit. The volunteer's reaction was totally rude: He immediately confronted me with arrogance, asking me who I was and if I was part of the booked group. Upon my confirmed presence on the tour and my observation that it was not right to occupy that spot, he replied irritably that he "would not let me in." He then justified the fact by claiming that "after a certain hour it is normal to park there" — as if the rights of people with disabilities expired at a set time or disabled people only went out during the day! I find that the arrogance and incivility of this single individual do not do honor to the excellent work done by the rest of the staff and the guides.
Nice experience. Unfortunately it was only in Italian but where possible we got an English translation. Nice to see a different side of Turin.
It was a very interesting tour. To learn about the citadel was fascinating. The Resistance Underground tunnels were amazing.
The History of the underground was impressive and our guide (Ileana) painted the story well using the topographical map in the museum. We found very helpful to understand the layout of the city etc. The underground itself was impressive. The remainder of the tour walking outside was nice but it felt disconnected to the start of the tour. Would still recommend.
There are no suggestions to follow. The visit is well detailed and already fascinating in its own right. Perhaps I would suggest a minimum of historical preparation to better follow the detailed descriptions of the museum guide and staff... Highly recommended for all ages! The visit to the anti-aircraft museum in the “new” prisons is a journey full of historical sensations and modern thrills...
Excellent, interesting and informative tour of the tunnels of the citadel in Turin. Lots of useful information about Turin's history.
Very interesting tour made engaging by the guide Antonio, prepared and nice person. Congratulations to the organization!
The tour is a fascinating look on Italian history starting in 1700 going forward. In addition to walking through a maze of tunnels used to defend Turin against its enemies, you are taken to a WWII bomb shelter and a parking garage built around Roman ruins.
Beautiful experience made very interesting by our super guide Roberto who told us the story of underground Turin in a simple but detailed way making it very engaging!
We speak English knowing this tour was in Italian. Still very worth it. For one part of the tour, there were headsets with prerecorded English. This covered more ground than we realized. The fort area has a lot of history and has its own museum. There are a lot of visuals in the museum to explain the layout. Very interesting, especially if you like history. Also went to an old jail and a place where they stored ice.
