The sites we saw when we eventually got too see them were spectacular, the organisation of the tour was shockingly bad, spent ages at each site waiting for the guide to arrange the tickets, at one place even had too purchase them ourselves to gain access, what should have been a 12 hour trip turned into 17 hours, we didn’t get lunch till 5pm and it was pitch black when we got too the cenote. He also said he would refund the money for the tickets but when the tour finished decided he didn’t have any money, so not only is he a shockingly bad tour guide he is also a thief. What could have been a lovely day turned into an absolutely frustrating one.
I generally loved the experience between snorkeling go in the catamaran and the open bar worth this experience
I loved it is a little long tour but for the cost it is worth it!! know several places in one day my favorite part was the cenote
Overall disappointed. The bus was almost 2 hrs late picking us up, the tour operator proceeded to charge us $20 for natural mosquito repellent we were never told to bring. It was extremely hot and humid and the only option is to buy overpriced water, they should be providing ample water taking people into that type of situation. The guide rushed us the entire time and never gave us time to shop in Tulum.
The guide needs to understand what the customers want and why they are taking tours. Lots of distractions during the tour
Billed as an English speakers tour we were the only non Spanish speakers on the small bus. Were given No instruction regarding leaving pack on the bus. Were terrified because we were told to board the bus at 12:45 and that it would leave without us at 1:00. It left at 1:30. Total lack of info on what to expect for day. Told on phone we would be back by 8:00. Got back 9:10. Total bad.
Great tour, learned about Mayan history, culture. This was also a great opportunity to experience authentic Mexican cuisine from the Quintana Roo region
The whole trip was coordinated very nicely . After booking the trip online , I received the info regarding the pickup timings and other details. On the actual day, the tour organiser Alexa came right at our hotel lobby early in the morning to take us to the main road where the big bus was already parked. For the initial 40mins the bus was picking up everybody whosoever booked the trip. Afterwards , the tour guide Jimmy told us about the plan which was to take us to Tulum first then Coba , eat lunch and at last Playa Del Carmen. We paid MEX$285 per person in the bus which is specifically mentioned in the package details. Thereafter we were all taken to Tulum where we spent almost 2 hrs and were given a good tour of the place by the tour guide “Mr. Miyagi” . There would be a separate tour guide for both spanish and english speaking people once you reach Tulum. We explored the place, took some pictures and got back to the meeting point at the decided timings. Jimmy was nice to check for everybody before starting the bus for the next stop. Next, we headed to Coba where we rented bicycles to see the different archaeological tombs. The cost of renting the bicycle was MEX$65 per bicycle . Riding the bicycle was actually fun . We spent an hour there and returned to the original meeting point again by the timings that was told to us earlier. Afterwards, we went for lunch and swimming at one of the places in Coba only. There was also a kind of special ritual prayer we attended with the local priest. At last , we went to Playa Del Carmen and had only 30mins to see the place. Overall, it was a nice trip and is definitely recommended. Jimmy and Alexa both coordinated everything nicely and kudos to them. A few tips : Bring a couple of water bottles with yourself as you would be walking a lot . Also, carry your swimming trunks, towel and slippers in case you want to swim.
Marco and Santa are excellent guides! I highly recommend this trip. Although the jewelery Matis was not included in the program, I recommend entering the program ... the prices are good and I come back🙈
