Casa Carbonell, um edifício modernista construído na década de 1920. Segundo a lenda, foi encomendado por um industrial têxtil após ser humilhado por sua aparência humilde ao chegar de Alcoy durante uma epidemia.
A Câmara Municipal de Alicante, construída no século XVIII, é um exemplo proeminente do barroco civil valenciano. Sua fachada principal apresenta duas torres simétricas que emolduram o edifício. Na torre esquerda está o relógio, que usa o numeral romano "IIII" em vez do usual "IV", uma convenção comum na relojoaria que remonta a tradições históricas.
Antigamente, esta praça era conhecida como Praça da Forca, pois era o local onde ocorriam as execuções públicas. Localizado próximo à antiga muralha e a um de seus principais portões, era um ponto estratégico para punir a população: as execuções eram realizadas à vista de todos que entravam ou saíam da cidade.
Esta praça, antigamente conhecida como Plaza de las Barcas, deve seu nome atual ao famoso escritor alicante Gabriel Miró, cuja estátua preside o espaço desde 1929. É um lugar com grande valor sentimental para o povo de Alicante e um oásis de sombra e tranquilidade no coração da cidade.
Esta rua de pedestres se tornou famosa por sua decoração com grandes cogumelos coloridos, uma intervenção artística que a transformou em um ícone infantil e fotográfico.
Inaugurado em 1847, o Teatro Principal é o coração cultural de Alicante. Sua fachada neoclássica com colunas jônicas é um dos ícones arquitetônicos da cidade.
Este bairro pitoresco, situado nas encostas do Monte Benacantil, preserva o traçado mouro de ruas estreitas, casas caiadas e escadarias íngremes.
É o templo mais antigo da cidade, construído sobre uma antiga mesquita após a Reconquista. Sua fachada gótica e detalhes barrocos falam de sua evolução ao longo dos séculos.
Localizado no topo do Monte Benacantil, este castelo tem sido uma fortaleza estratégica desde os tempos islâmicos. É uma das maiores fortalezas medievais da Espanha. A sua origem remonta ao século IX, durante o domínio Muçulmano.
A Plaza de España é um dos principais espaços abertos de Alicante, localizado bem ao lado do Mercado Central. É uma área movimentada, tanto pela atividade comercial quanto pela proximidade com instituições culturais e bairros tradicionais.
Nesta mesma área fica a histórica Praça de Touros de Alicante, inaugurada em 1847 e uma das mais antigas da Comunidade Valenciana. Já sediou shows de touradas, concertos e eventos populares. Embora seu uso tenha evoluído, continua sendo um edifício de grande importância para o patrimônio urbano.
É o ponto de partida para as mascletàs durante as Fogueiras de São João. Milhares de pessoas se reúnem aqui todo mês de junho para celebrar o maior festival de Alicante.
Aos pés do castelo e junto ao centro histórico, esta praia urbana é uma das mais conhecidas da Comunidade Valenciana. Seu nome vem do antigo portão (porta secundária) que ligava a cidade ao litoral. Hoje é um lugar ideal para relaxar após o passeio, com seu calçadão, palmeiras e águas calmas.

Great experience - Don was a really good guide - so relaxing to sit in the tuk tuk, rather than walking round in the heat - a fantastic quick way to quickly take in the highlights of Alicante

Guide was good, nice friendly, saw some sights, only complaint is the tour on Viator said 1.5 hours and we were cut to 55 minutes. Seems they overbooked as they reached out early and tried to reschedule but we were in a cruise ship and could not.

Slightly disappointed. Firstly though, we couldn't fault the lady driver. Friendly, helpful and informative. Some very good historical titbits. However, it felt slightly underwhelming, perhaps because we are residents and knew a fair bit anyway. It covered the old town, new town, mushroom street, bullring, castle etc. Took 50 mins not 70 (maybe we didn't ask enough questions). The lady kindly altered our drop off point, which was appreciated. On the negatives, the tuktuk is not fantastically accessible if you have leg or knee issues. The tour commentary needed speakers really, rather than talking over road noise. And we didn't get our complementary water. Mixed review but on balance worth it for being something different.

As for accessibility, our vehicles are standard tuk tuks and their design is clearly visible before booking. Too expensive for what it is, not worth it, very little explanation, the girl was nice but she hardly spoke Spanish, which was the option I chose when making the reservation... a brief tour of unimportant parts of Alicante, or at least that is how we felt due to the lack of explanation... the only thing I can highlight is passing by Zetas Street and knowing how to get to Santa Catalina Castle, which of course we went to afterward, because they only gave us 10 minutes and we could only reach the door where we asked... quality-price ratio 0.

Sinceramente, nos resulta difícil entender una valoración tan extrema cuando la mayor parte de sus críticas se refieren a expectativas que no forman parte del producto contratado. La ruta, la duración, las paradas y el carácter panorámico del tour están descritos con total claridad antes de reservar. Un recorrido en tuk tuk por Alicante no es una visita guiada de varias horas al Castillo de Santa Bárbara ni una excursión a pie por cada monumento de la ciudad. Pretender lo contrario es simplemente no haber leído la descripción de la actividad. 🖤🛺 También resulta sorprendente afirmar que hubo “nula explicación” mientras destaca varios lugares que descubrió durante el recorrido y que visitó posteriormente gracias a las indicaciones recibidas. Si realmente no hubiera existido explicación alguna, difícilmente habría obtenido esa información. Respecto al idioma, la guía realiza tours en español de forma habitual. Que su acento o forma de expresarse no haya sido de su agrado es una cuestión completamente distinta a afirmar que “casi no hablaba español”. Lamentamos que sus expectativas fueran diferentes a la experiencia contratada, pero el tour se realizó exactamente conforme a la descripción publicada y aceptada en el momento de la reserva. ☀️💨
