I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with this operator. Before the activity, I was given an extremely oversized suit and specifically asked for a smaller one. I was assured that the size would not be a problem. Unfortunately, during the dive, a carabiner attached to the suit swung and struck me in the eye area due to the improper fit of the equipment, causing an injury that has had lasting consequences. What was even more troubling was the operator's response afterward. Rather than acknowledging the issue, the operator denied responsibility and made false statements, twisting and lying about the instructions all participants were given. The video footage of all participants clearly shows that the operator is blatantly lying. While the operator knows that there is clear evidence contradicting her statements, it did not stop her from doing so. Accidents can happen, but honesty and accountability matter. In my experience, the operator showed no basic ethics, and being willing to go to such lengths to lie is deeply concerning. I would encourage others to carefully consider not just the risks, but also the operator they choose.
This experience was more magical than even our best expectations. Ida made this a great, comfortable, seamless, inspiring, and fun evening we will never forget! Of course, seeing the lights was magical, but the entire time from the ride to the floating to photos and delicious local snacks was all made very special by the warm welcome of our host.
Ida was the best guide! We were fortunate to go on a clear day with a very small group. Ida connected with us immediately and made the float a very fun and memorable experience! We went out a bit from the city and enjoyed being out in a very beautiful fjord. It was awesome!
Realy new experience. We able to to stupid movemet and jump into the fjord at the end of session. Although make us wet inside.
Absolutely amazing time, unforgettable moments and led by two very knowledgeable and friendly guides Ida & Sofia.
Exceptional experience, I highly recommend this particular tour as a genuine fun! Our guide Ida was just brilliant! Thanks!
A fabulous experience led by Ida. We booked this independently from the cruise we were on and highly recommend it. Ida was a great host; amusing, knowledgeable and patient. She took great pictures and videos and made the best waffles ever!
You’re zipped into heavy-duty survival suits and float in the fjord after doing a few fun survival formations/drills. It sounds extreme, but once you’re in you mostly just bob around taking in the mountains and Arctic scenery. It was oddly serene. What we wore under the suit: - 260 gsm merino base layer top + thin merino sweater - Thermal tights / fleece trousers, sock liners + wool socks. What we wish we wore: - Fleece layer over other 2 layers on top - 260 gsm merino tights instead of thermal leggings/fleece trousers - Merino glove liners under the knit gloves provided (our fingers got cold first) Whether you opt to jump off the pier or not at the end, it is highly likely your layers will get we under the suit. We wished we brought a full change of clothes. 10xNorth has a house on the fjord that only your group has access to. We all just left our bags/snow boots/coats there on the benches. Afterwards you warm up with hot drinks and Norwegian waffles with brown cheese and jam. Unique, well run, and well worth doing.
I wasn’t too sure how fun this would be but we took a chance anyway. It was fantastic. Our guide was superb and made it so much fun for the whole family. Everyone loved it and we will be talking about this for a long time.
Great experience. Would suggest it to anyone. Not something you would think of doing but so much fun.
