Operator declined to take us to agreed to hotel and notified us last minute. Spent an hour on 3calls with Victor and no resolution so had it cancel
Pick up from the airport was fine. Return to airport was not. Driver was a no-show with no notification. I had to text and call only to find out they were not coming at all.
Ignacio was a great driver. Very polite and kind. I felt safe with his driving. He got us to the resort quickly and safely.
This company IS A SCAM!!! I paid for round trip service in advance through TripAdvisor. After I paid for the service, I received emails asking me to submit the requested information and I did so 3 times to assure that we were connected and confirmed . Once we arrived to Los Cabo’s airport, no one was there to greet us at all with a sign with our names..ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! My husband and I were stranded for 3 hours looking for this “ghost” of a company. We ended up having to pay another company $80 one way to get us to our resort. Bottom line, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!! Do not use the company, you will be disappointed!! PERIOD!!!!
The money will be refunded, but the process does take some time. We do not keep money from services that experienced issues; however, there is a protocol we must follow because we work directly with Viator. We do not scam people, and we will not keep your money. They were in constant communication as our plane landed. Provided specific directions on how to find them at the airport as well. Ignacio was waiting for us and was very helpful and on time. Trip to our hotel was smooth and uneventful. So glad we booked with Ballard Tours.
Drivers and vehicles are great once they arrive, BUT, communication is very poor. Asked for meet up location information and did not receive a reply. At the Cabo airport, BALLARD has NO signage. There are 20 companies there on site, all with signage and a person with a clipboard where you can check in. Not Ballard. We were told Ballard was at 4 different umbrellas. After quickly going 0-4 we were told there was “a guy in a black shirt” around here somewhere. Nope. A lady with a different company made 3 calls to 3 people before she secured the replacement driver. Without her we were stranded and would have eaten our prepaid round trip. Ballard needs to step up their game big time. I would NOT recommend this company until the get it together at the airport. Drivers are good. Communication is very poor. Good luck.
They were a NO SHOW! When other vendors called the company, they had no driver and no vehicle available!
They brought to our resort with no problem. When we called to check on our return pick-up, we were told it would be an extra $35 because it was further. At time of booking they had the address of our resort. We finally said OK, but we were worried that they may not show. They also would not answer the phone. They would only tex back. I strongly would not use this carrier ever again. I am also letting people know watch out for any extras.
Terrible company. Took 10 hours for them to give me a pick up time to the airport. I had to call the second tier contractor myself and it took 5 minutes
Your company is asking me how the service was and to write a review but we are still waiting to be picked up, hours later still at the airport waiting for a drive in the heat after a very long day of travel, at this point we are ready to get another form of transportation because they have not arrived, very disappointed!
