We used Kili Taxi Services for our initial arrival transfer, and everything went very smoothly with absolutely no issues. Because of that, we expected the same level of service for our return trip back to the airport. Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. The driver never showed up for our scheduled pickup. I emailed the company and called them on WhatsApp at least three times, but received zero response or explanation. We were completely ignored. Thank goodness for our hotel reception staff, who quickly stepped in and were able to find us a reliable driver to the airport at the last minute so we didn't miss our flight. While the first leg of our trip was fine, I highly advise against booking them for a return flight when reliability is critical. It is not worth the stress of being left stranded!
Hello Yesenia, We are sorry to see this review, especially because it does not accurately reflect what happened. For your return transfer, you informed us that your flight was at 9:00 AM, but no specific pickup time was provided. Based on the usual driving time from Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport, we arranged for our driver to pick you up at 6:00 AM, giving you enough time to reach the airport around 7:00 AM and have approximately two hours for check-in. Our driver arrived at the hotel approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. However, we were later informed that you had already left the hotel in another taxi at approximately 5:30 AM. For this reason, it is not accurate to say that our driver “never showed up” or that Kili Taxi left you stranded. Our driver was at the hotel and ready to provide the transfer that had been arranged. We also did not intentionally ignore your calls or messages. The issue was that you had already departed from the hotel before our scheduled pickup time, which created the misunderstanding. We are glad that you were ultimately able to reach the airport safely. We fully understand how important reliability is when catching a flight, which is exactly why we scheduled the pickup at 6:00 AM based on the information provided to us. We respect your experience and your right to leave a review, but we also feel it is important to clarify the circumstances for future customers reading this review. The facts show that the driver was dispatched, arrived at the hotel as scheduled, and was ready to take you to the airport.
Good service and they drop me on time at Kilimanjaro airport even I had late. Staff is cooperative and humble..

Elias was an outstanding driver and made my trip even more enjoyable. He arrived early in the morning and patiently waited for me, which I really appreciated. His vehicle was spotless and very well maintained, and throughout the journey he drove safely and professionally. Communication was never an issue because his English was excellent. During what could have been a long drive, he shared interesting information about Tanzania, its culture, and local life, making the time pass quickly. He even waited for me while I had lunch, which showed how thoughtful and accommodating he was. I truly appreciate everything he did. We reserved private transfer from JRO airport to Moshi. Elias was waiting for us outside the airport with a sign clearly stating our name. He was very helpful and kind, even offering to stop if we needed water or snacks. He also provided information about the area on the way to Moshi. It was such a pleasurable experience that we booked Kili Taxi again the next day for transport to Arusha. Elias was again our driver. He was punctual and safe. We will definitely use Kili taxi’s services in the future.

I had a few tours with Viators. Many of them cancelled the tour in last minutes. But this time, it was very smooth and the drives was nice.

Our driver did not show up forcing us to take alternate transportation. I specifically messaged the company with our arrival time and got a positive response but still a no show

Very great experience! I am a solo traveler and it gave such peace of mind to have this preset and organized before my arrival. My driver was extremely professional, there was a sign with my name on it to easily locate and they drove me to my destination safely. I would highly recommend using their services!
