Situada acima do Oceano Atlântico e do rio Bou Regreg, a Kasbah of the Udayas é um dos marcos mais pitorescos de Rabat. Esta fortaleza histórica, que remonta ao século XII, é famosa por sua atmosfera pacífica, ruas estreitas de azul e branco e vistas panorâmicas deslumbrantes. Caminhar pela Kasbah é como entrar em uma encantadora aldeia costeira, onde a história, a arquitetura e a vida cotidiana se misturam de forma bonita.
Localizados no interior da Kasbah, os Jardins Andaluces oferecem uma fuga tranquila da agitação da cidade. Projetados em estilo mouro tradicional, estes exuberantes jardins apresentam árvores laranjas, flores coloridas, fontes e passagens sombreadas. Marina Rabat é um moderno passeio marítimo que se estende ao longo do rio Bou Regreg entre Rabat e Salé. A Torre Hassan é o monumento mais icônico de Rabat e um poderoso símbolo do passado imperial de Marrocos. Construído no século XII, era destinado a se tornar o minarete mais alto do mundo, mas a construção nunca foi concluída. Hoje, a torre fica rodeada por centenas de colunas de pedra, criando um impressionante site ao ar livre que reflete a grandeza da dinastia Almohad.
Frente à Torre Hassan, o mausoléu de Mohammed V é uma obra-prima arquitetônica que exibe a melhor artesanato marroquina. Decorado com mosaicos complicados, mármore esculpido e um teto de madeira de cedro bonito esculpido, abriga os túmulos do rei Mohammed V e seus filhos. Chellah é um antigo sítio arqueológico que combina ruínas romanas e estruturas islâmicas medievais, situado dentro de jardins pacíficos. I had the pleasure of being welcomed and driven in a tuk-tuk by Mr. Hossam, and I can only warmly recommend him. He is a very good driver who knows his vehicle perfectly, which makes the ride particularly smooth and reassuring. In addition to being an excellent professional, he is a person of immense kindness, pleasant and deeply caring. He took great care of us throughout the journey, even going so far as to spontaneously buy bottles of water for my son and me. The planned route was perfectly followed, enriched with superb explanations and even a few nice surprises. An absolutely remarkable welcome and sense of service. Thank you again for this unforgettable moment!

Brilliant Tuk-Tuk ride around Rabat. What a great way to see this surprising city! We had plenty of time to see everything - the Chellah was particularly impressive - and take photos. We did the tour at 4pm and I think it was a perfect time of day (back by 7 for dinner) as the sunlight was so pretty.

There is much to see in Rabat, so a tour with a Tuk Tuk makes sense. Hassan navigated his vehicle very safely through the traffic and the narrow alleys of the Medina and has extensive knowledge about the sights of Rabat. Since Hassan speaks very good English, communication with him was very easy. I can only recommend the tour with Hassan to everyone. 5 stars
