It is a rather discreet town compared to the tourist areas of the island, but it has its charm. The waterfront is nice, with a beautiful promenade and El Reducto beach right in the center. The Castillo de San Gabriel is accessible by a small bridge, which gives a nice view.
Loved everything The excellent guide had a lot of fun and had a great time Too many beautiful memories and beautiful place Super cool activities A fairly complete tour Thank you so much 😊
Fantastic to see geyser demo plus brush burning without matchstick. View on the way and return also was very good. The only downside was the long travel to and fro.
Excellent tour. Very interesting explanations and spectacular organization. I recommend it if you want to make the most of your time in Lanzarote.
The tour was perfect, the views, the atmosphere, the driver, the host lady super funny giving us time for everything and the stories about every place was super interesting. Thanks for everything
Do not take this tour if you are on a cruise ship!!!! Lanzarote’s scenery is spectacular, and everyone should experience it, but not with Lanzarote Guides. When I booked the tour, I selected a pick up point within walking distance of the port. Less than 24 hours before the tour, Lanzarote Guides changed my pick up to a parking lot point that was an 11 euro taxi ride away. The driver was 20 minutes late to my pickup, so he drove 40-50 kpm above the speed limit (90 in a 40 zone) to pick up additional customers. He then took us to a waiting area. When the actual tour bus arrived a few minutes later, it was packed. The only two remaining seats were in the middle of the last row. The first stop, La Geria was scenic, but the “wine tasting” was disappointing. We had to wait in line for several minutes for a single small sample of white wine. The camel ride was nice, certainly worth the 11 euro additional fee. Timanfaya was definitely the highlight. Volcanic craters, lava fields and ash for as far as the eye can see. The worst part of the trip was the return. We were supposed to be back at 5:30,l to meet our ship, but were more than an hour late because the driver dropped off every other passenger before us. We were so late that we missed the last city bus back to the ship. No taxis in sight. We had to walk into town to find a taxi We were the among the very last passengers to return to the ship. Many of the passengers were Spanish speakers, so the guide’s Spanish descriptions were much more thorough than her English. A very painful and stressful experience withLanzarote Guides.
We were on a cruise ship docked in Arricefe and booked this afternoon tour. Pick up options were very limited but the company kindly organised a near port pickup on our request. We found out then that were joining a full day tour half way. The tour was in both Spanish and English which detracted from the commentary from our personable and knowledgeable guide. The scenery was fantastic and the stop and drive through the Timanfaya National Park was excellent. Because we were now joined with a full day tour the end of tour drop off was a nightmare. It took 90 minutes between finishing the tour at Green Lake and being dropped off back in Arricefe at a bus station nowhere near our confirmed Gran Hotel drop off. Cruise passengers - good luck!
Bus and the guide were late for one hour. Bus is old and AC isn,t on all the time. You can’t really see anything if you are not sitting next to the window. Guide is speaking broken english with strong spanish accent so you probably won’t understand her a thing. You can do whole tour alone if you have car becouse guide is useless. Didn’t even had an option to ride camels even though it was promised. Speakers in the bus were horrible and they even played some records when the guide should be speaking. Tour ended 20 min early (started hour later…) I messaged lanzaroteguides 3 times to try to return my money but they just left “seen” 3 times. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever take lanzaroteguides for any tour.
Amateur, disorganized service. You waste time at the points of sale of products and little left to visit the important points or take photos. On the return we were kicked out of the bus to more than 1kg on foot. Fortunately it wasn't raining. Not worth the money I paid.
Very well explained, impressive the island and what they taught us, they brought us to the coach and then leave you as close to your area. Several stops are made to see different areas and there is usually a bathroom and some coffee shop and shops. Bring cash better for everything on the tour (food, gifts, camels...) in many places not almost coverage or wifi. Vanessa and Manolo great
