Enrique was excellent! Very knowledgeable and considerate of our family and my kids!

I would say this is a must do if you are visiting the Caribbean coast. Our tour guide and translator Enrique was amazing. The Shaman experience was full of information about the BriBri cultural heritage and practices. The little blessing ceremony was a nice touch. The BriBri family we spent time with was our personal favorite. Our lovely BriBri guide with the help of Enrique to translate led us on an amazing plant discovery journey. We enjoyed the chocolate making (and eating) process as well. A filling homemade lunch was provided which was very tasty. We did opt out of the waterfall but by all means go if you want. I do recommend bug spray as was mentioned by the tour operator. Overall it was a great morning tour and well worth the cost. Pura Vida!

Such a humbling and amazing experience to imerge into the Bribri culture - it was a very rich experience. On top of that @exploracaribecr paired us with Enrrique, a very knowledgeable and culture/nature expert, who made us enjoy and learn at every single moment of our tour!

Totally worth it! Meaningful and delicious! Our guide Theresa was so warm, open, kind, and knowledgeable! Visiting the Shaman for a healing ritual was meaningful and powerful. Learning about the native plants and abundance provided by the earth was fascinating! Making, eating, and drinking fresh Cacao was so fun and delicious! Connecting in a global women's circle while drinking Cacao was deeply enriching and magical. The waterfall swim was wonderful and refreshing. Overall, experiencing the traditional BriBri way of life was powerful and touched me deeply in my soul. Definitely do it!

Our wonderful guide was very knowledgeable, authentic, nice, and made every effort to translate interactions with several BriBri people, who joined us. We had a positive, spiritually-oriented experience with the Shaman 😊. We were a small, 3 person group, which also made it more personal and meaningful. We had fun making tasty chocolate, in a traditional way, from the cocao pod that we picked on the way! ❤️ We learned about quite a few medicinal plants. And, at the end, a refreshing swim at the waterfall (there was a changing area and a bathroom).

We had a guide, Lisandro, who was great. He speaks Spanish, English and Bribri. He used Google to help us understand some of the explanations during the visit.

Reserved this tour last minute, the day before, but they were quick with communication and very responsive. We agreed on a meeting point and on the day, it was quick and painless and they were on time. The drive was short and the sights and experiences are plenty. Enrique was a phenomenal guide. Enjoyed every moment! Pack swimming clothes for the waterfalls!

I had the honor of hosting my first yoga retreat in Costa Rica and brought my group on the Bri Bri Tribe Tour with Life Culture & Travel, led by Weshke Talamanca. We learned about medicinal plants, sampled fresh fruits, and experienced the cacao-making process—warm bananas with melted cacao were incredible. We also visited a welcoming family who shared their crafts and traditions with us. The short hike to the waterfall, even in the rain, was beautiful, and we ended the day with fresh watermelon, pineapple, and coconut water. This cultural, authentic, and heartwarming tour is a must-do in Costa Rica—I can’t wait to return with another group!
