Nós convidamos você a passar um dia visitando o maior laboratório de desenvolvimento urbano barroco e seus arredores. Centenas de igrejas espalhadas, basílicas impressionantes, pequenas igrejas meio escondidas em becos cheios de gente, edifícios com soluções arquitetônicas incomuns, portais, histórias sobre as antigas famílias nobres, representam a preciosa herança da maior floração da arte barroca siciliana, que faz desses lugares , sua atmosfera e sua paisagem realmente única.

Itinerário
O passeio começa em Ragusa Ibla com a visita do centro histórico de estilo barroco. Ragusa ibla pode ser considerada um verdadeiro museu ao ar livre, onde a opulência do barroco Iblean coexiste em sinergia com a natureza das montanhas iblei. Aqui vamos admirar a maravilhosa Catedral de São Jorge na Piazza Duomo, o "Portale di San Giorgio", um arco maravilhoso em estilo gótico catalão que remonta a 1400, o belo "Giardino Ibleo" e muitos edifícios em estilo barroco.
Continuamos a Modica, cujo centro histórico (Modica bassa), também é em estilo barroco. As duas catedrais, San Giorgio, que domina a vila desde o topo da colina e San Pietro, localizadas ao longo da rua principal, são exemplos extraordinários do barroco siciliano. Faremos uma parada na antiga loja de chocolates Bonajuto para auxiliar na explicação do processo para fazer o típico chocolate local, feito de acordo com uma antiga receita dos astecas trazida para a Sicília pelos espanhóis durante o seu domínio. Terminaremos com a visita da fascinante vila de Scicli, onde, mais uma vez, o principal estilo arquitetônico é o barroco. Atravessamos a fascinante paisagem rica em paredes íngremes de calcário, alfarrobeiras, muros baixos, pequenas igrejas e pedreiras, e chegamos à vista daquilo que chamaríamos de uma jóia no coração da Sicília. Começamos o passeio a pé pela cidade com o Parque Arqueológico de Chiafura, onde será possível ver as cavernas cavadas na rocha calcária onde muitas famílias ainda viveram até meados do século passado. Então, partindo da Igreja São Bartolomeu, atravessaremos o centro da cidade, rico em palácios e igrejas de estilo barroco, que fizeram de Scicli parte do Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO.

My friend and I really appreciated our Ragusa, Modica & Scicli tour with Riccardo of Taxi Catania NCC . He was professional, friendly and made sure we had the time and space to explore these Sicilian towns on our full-day adventure! I highly recommend him!
Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. We two 76 year olds appreciated his consideration. He made sure we had information for the remainder of our stay. Grazie mille Roberto! XO
Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
A excellent experience. Driver was absolutely great. He was very knowledgeable and flexible. The towns visited were baroque jewels.
I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .

Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.
Such a wonderful tour with Riccardo! Highly recommend. Very accommodating and knowledgeable and most importantly engaging. Easy day of sight seeing, shopping and eating.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
