This trip was well worth it the Bishnoi Village was very serene and quiet with beautiful scenery. My guide Devi was excellent with much knowledge of the culture. Balaji Forex Tours & Travels was easy to deal with they had everything together very quicly and great communication.

Definitely worth a visit. The village was amazing, the cooperative working excellent to watch and learn. So glad I went.

The experience was great in terms of being picked up from our location in a nice jeep to take us around. We went to a local village, a pottery place a rug weaving and a textiles factory which were all super nice to see. Devi was a great driver and taught us a lot about the history and culture. At the places we stopped there was the option to buy things from them - if this your thing then go for it. If you find interaction where you are slightly pressured/feel bad taking up the vendors time and not buying anything, this is not for you.

We were picked up at the arranged time in a jeep, perfect for the hot weather we had. The first visit to the home of a village family gave us a wonderful feel for how the family lived from day to day. Next, a first hand view of a family that is keeping alive a long standing weaving tradition was very special also. Following was to another family home where numerous pottery items could be viewed, as well as being shown how they turn small pots etc on an ancient stone wheel. All in all, a very informative and eye opening glimpse of how so many village dwellers in India spend their days. Very highly recommended.

The morning passed relatively quickly. Ray was a very good Driver/Guide, very friendly. It was very nice to see how carpet making was done, and pottery (even if already seen several times in Rajasthan). My best time was sharing a meal with the women and children in the kitchen. After personally I found it a bit expensive as a tour, especially since each time they try to sell us local crafts.

Bellissima esperienza! Ray is a magnificent person, he knows the area perfectly and makes you feel totally at ease. Respect the times and the realities encountered during the visit fill the experience with happiness and knowledge.

I would highly recommend this tour. We had a wonderful and informative afternoon with Devi Singh. The company was flexible in agreeing to meet near the villages instead of in town because it was on our from our previous destination. The tour is an excellent chance to see how the people live and work in the villages. At each of the stops, the locals will share their crafts and you will be able to purchase them at wholesale, but a firm "no" is received well. It is an opportunity for the craftsmen to benefit the most from their work. We saw many of the very same crafts in town for higher prices. The quality is of the crafts is outstanding and the people could not be more gracious. Devi was an excellent guide.

Very good tour with an excellent driver in Davi who looked after me very well. I would definitely recommend taking this tour
