A tumba de Ramsés III, designada como KV 11, é um sistema complexo no Vale dos Reis. Na mitologia egípcia, Ptah é o demiurgo de Memphis, deus dos artesãos e arquitetos. A tumba de Ramses IV (KV 2) no Vale dos Reis é bastante diferente da maioria das outras tumbas construídas aqui. Esta tumba é de longe a mais espetacular das outras tumbas que você verá. Os hieróglifos na parede representam cenas da Litania de Rá, Livro dos Mortos, Livro das Cavernas, Livro dos Céus, Livro de Amduat e Livro da Noite. As cores azul e branco nas paredes dentro da câmara mortuária são muito vibrantes e você pode ver o sarcófago do rei feito de granito rosa. Há também uma bela cena da deusa Nut no teto, onde ela é retratada engolindo o sol, e ele viajando por seu estômago, para Nut dar à luz. A tumba tem tantas cores e detalhes que até o teto acima dos sarcófagos com sua deusa Nut se estende por todo o espaço. O sarcófago é um dos maiores do vale, embora algumas das pinturas estejam deterioradas, este é um dos mais decorados.

Our guide was very informative, but was unable to go in the tombs with us. He pointed out things for us to look for before going in. Valley of the Kings is very hot in July so bring a lot of water.

The complete visit to the Valley of the Kings was amazing. I would not have expected so much beauty, especially in the tombs of Seti I and Ramsete IV. The tomb of Tutankhamun is also worth a visit, if only for the fame of the treasure on display in Cairo. It also deserves the temple of Hatshepshut, a masterpiece that has endured through the millennia. Khalid showed us the most deserving things, explaining everything with great competence. This tour is highly recommended! We took a balloon ride booked through the same company so our guide met us afterwards. The tour was well organized. Our Egyptologist guide Abdul, spoke good English and also good archaeological background. He is knowledgeable and learned the history of people who lived in the areas of the tomb sites. In the Valley of the Kings, we indicated that we want to see SETTI which is an extra cost and King Tut. SETII IS WORTH THE EXTRA FEE. The hieroglyphs are vibrant and detained. Abdul chose the other 3 tombs for us which we all love, especially Ramses III. He explained what we will see inside using postcards (which we purchased later) so it was nice to hunt the hieroglyphics and know their meaning. He gave us enough time to explore each tombs on our own. We also had time for quick snack break as it got really hot inside the tombs. Don't expect to eat a full sit down meal during the tour especially if you decide to visit 5 tombs which can be time consuming. Overall, very happy with this tour, nice driver and excellent tour guide, Abdul.

Spectacular. The valley of the kings cannot be missed, with the tomb of Seti I being well worth what we paid. Hassan was a truly excellent guide - he answered all our questions and gave us plenty of flexibility to move at our own pace and add on other local sites into the afternoon. Would recommend.
